"There were 20, 30 people on set to take the pictures," she said of the photo shoots with Brett Ratner, normally an action movie director moonlighting as a fashion photographer. "He had a lot of assistants. So I don't have to do that much. They all make me look good."

Last season's stars of The Bachelor, Lt. Andy Baldwin and his chosen lady, social worker Tessa Horst, have confirmed that they have broken off their engagement.

But not their bond with each other.

"We are very much in love and committed to our relationship," the couple said in a joint statement to People.

"With the possibility of reassignment to a new location, we decided it was not the ideal time for Tessa to uproot herself and move out [to Hawaii] right now. Our relationship continues to deepen, and we're very hopeful about our future."

At the ABC party during the Television Critics Association press tour in late July, Andy Baldwin, 30, said that the San Francisco-based Tessa Horst, 26, was due to move to Hawaii, where Baldwin is posted, that month.

Andy and Tessa got together after he picked her over Bevin Powers on the May 21 finale of their season on the matchmaking program.

At the time, Horst said, "Andy brings light into any room and just lights up the room. His smile and his warmth just make him so great to be around."

About his station in Hawaii, Andy Baldwin said:

"I know that I have a year left and I may have the option of a three-year tour. There is also the option of a position in California. There is also a chance of me going back to finish my residency training. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and I am a firm believer that this happened in my life for a reason. Tessa came onto the show for a reason, and it is like a dream come true."

The next season of The Bachelor will begin on ABC September 24. Here's hoping Brad Womack has better luck... and is slightly less of a tool.

With her hard-partying ways, singer Amy Winehouse has gone from being the music world's newest phenom to its latest casualty.

On August 8, the beehived British star was rushed to London's UCLH hospital for "exhaustion." The star's rep, Tracey Miller, says her client is very overworked.

Exhaustion takes on many meanings. For Lindsay Lohan, it likely means a liter of man soup in her stomach. For Winehouse, a source blames alcohol and drugs.

Indeed, Amy Winehouse, 23, who grew up in working-class London, has long been a wild child. Her taxi-driver dad and pharmacist mom split when she was 9. Her response?

Calling herself a "violent drunk," the singer has said she battled eating disorders, and her arm bears scars from mutilating herself.

The adorable Suri Cruise is rumored to be the new face of Baby Gap. We wish it were true. Those would be some cute ads! But alas, it looks like rumors to that effect are unfounded.

The rumor is "totally untrue," according to the publicist for the cute baby's father, actor Tom Cruise.

Reports surfaced Wednesday that Suri Cruise had signed a lucrative contract with the kids clothing company.

Which would've been some feat, as she just learned to walk and probably hasn't even learned how to say "Scientology" yet.

But even without the ad campaign, the littlest member of the TomKat home has been finding all sorts of cool ways to keep busy.

Since kicking off the summer with mom Katie Holmes on the set of Mad Money in Shreveport, La., the 16-month-old has soaked up rays in the South of France and Sardinia, Italy, and become a regular in Berlin, where her dad is filiming the World War II drama Valkyrie.

Cameron Diaz is no longer with Justin Timberlake, but she's dipped back into the popular, lame musician well (so to speak) to find herself a new guy: John Mayer!

Diaz, the 34-year-old star of Shrek, There's Something About Mary and a lot of other films, and John Mayer, a singer-songwriter best known for recently dating Jessica Simpson's giant boobs, were spotted out in New York last night.

"They went out to several places... It was the two of them, getting to know each other, out on the town," says a source reportedly close to the couple.

According to a source, Cameron Diaz, who is in New York filming the new comedy What Happens in Vegas, and John Mayer have known each other for quite awhile.

"This was technically not their first time hanging out... they've hung out together with friends before. But this was the first time together like this. It's new and developing... but they really like each other and it went well," the Us Weekly source explained.

A rep for John Mayer would not confirm the couple, saying "We do not comment on our client's personal lives." A rep for Cameron Diaz also had no comment.

Neither star's rep would say if the new couple would wait to set a wedding date, like Nick Cannon and Selita Ebanks, or if they were getting really serious already.

Hey, some couples move faster than others. Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen met in 2005, while Spencer Pratt fake proposed to Heidi Montag after less than a year!

But we're drifting off topic here. One thing's for sure: there's no great celebrity couple name to be spawned by this pair. Miaz? Dayer? Johneron? Come on guys.

Interestingly, Mayer was linked to another star, Mandy Moore, as recently as this morning. Moore denies they are dating, though, chalking it up to friendship.

Sorry, Caroline D'Amore and Matthew Ross: you're no longer the most random Hollywood couple to get engaged this week.

Jimmy Fallon popped the all-important quesstion to Nancy Juvonen, a Hollywood producer who worked on Fallon's 2005 romantic embarrassment comedy Fever Pitch.

The proposal took place in New Hampshire "last weekend on the dock at sunset at the Junoven's family home in Wolfeboro on Lake Winnipesaukee, where On Golden Pond was filmed," a friend of the couple told People magazine. "He presented her with a one-of-a-kind ring designed by Neil Lane."

We assume, unlike that of Heidi Montag, this piece of jewelery is real.

The bride-to-be has been a close friend and producing partner of Drew Barrymore's for more than a decade. Earlier this summer, that actress threw Juvonen a 40th birthday party, where guests included Eva Mendes, Kathy Griffin, Courtney Love, Jason Bateman and Fred Savage.

It's the first marriage for both.

Heidi Montag, The Hills' media whore extraordinaire, got some serious bling from Spencer Pratt on the season premiere of the hit MTV series.

But it looks like that crap-tastic rock is even more fake than some of Heidi and Spencer's conversations, according to sources.

Apparently the "pink diamond" is really just a lavender, lemon amethyst! A nice birthstone, sure. But many times cheaper than the engagement rings even middle-class, working, celebrity news-writing stiffs fork over for their fiancees. Nice work, ass clown.

The ring retails for $2,890. Not exactly chump change, but definitely a little low-rent for someone who walks around acting like some high roller. Wouldn't you say?
