In a manner of speaking, of course.
Anyone who's followed Mischa Barton news lately knows hers has been anything but beautiful. You know, trying to claim her own life, being on suicide watch and all.
But despite Barton's health concerns, she is back and filming The Beautiful Life, a CW pilot debuting this fall, as planned. We wish Mischa the best of food health.
Here she is with co-star Elle McPherson ...
Mischa Barton: Lucid, returning to TV soon.
The show, revolving around a group of models in New York City, also stars Corbin Bleu of High School Musical fame, former supermodel McPherson and two newcomers, Sara Paxton and Ashley Madekwe. It looks like a pretty entertaining series, actually.

Former star of The Bachelor Aaron Buerge, whose engagement to Helene Eksterowicz ran its course really freaking fast in 2002, completed his remarkable romantic turnaround by marrying Angye McIntosh last weekend in Springfield, Mo.
"They seemed genuinely excited to tie the knot," says a guest who saw, 35, a banker and restaurant owner, marry McIntosh, 33, a commercial insurance agent.
"Obviously, Angye was beautiful. He's got a lovely bride."
Aaron Buerge and Angye McIntosh only recently announced their engagement.
With 75 guests on hand, the two walked toward an altar fashioned from columns draped with white curtains. Following a brief exchange of vows, the newlyweds "buzzed out of the hall," says a guest, "and then were re-introduced as a couple."
Aaron Buerge and Angye McIntosh make it official.
The newly-married couple have dated for a couple of years, since they were introduced on a group outing by one of Aaron Buerge's former girlfriends.
"They are always happy to be together. They have the same goals, they have the same drive to be successful, they have the same interests, they're both very active. They love to run together, go for long walks. They love to travel."
Sounds like a match made in heaven. Will Ed Swiderski and Jillian Harris ever experience such a magical union together? All bets are currently off.
Scrubs actress Sarah Chalke and fiance Jamie Afifi are expecting their first child, her rep confirmed this afternoon. The little bundle of joy is due this winter!
The couple has been engaged since December 2006, when Jamie Afifi, a successful entertainment lawyer, proposed to Sarah Chalke on a Hawaiian vacation.
"The best is just knowing that 100 percent somebody always has your back and you always have theirs," Chalke said early this year about being engaged.
"You have a partner, you have a buddy."
Chalke is not the only purveyor of classic Scrubs quotes to get knocked up lately. Co-star Judy Reyes is also pregnant and due with a girl this November.
Congratulations to all!
Sarah Chalke and Jamie Afifi are having a baby!
America's favorite unwed teen baby daddy, Levi Johnston, made headlines this week by attending the Teen Choice Awards for some reason (with date Kathy Griffin) and giving another round of unintentionally hilarious interviews about Sarah Palin.
The 19-year-old Levi, who put a baby up in Bristol Palin last year, is taking every opportunity to speak, mostly nonsensically, about anything he's asked about.
Last night, that mission brought him to Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.
Appearing from his home in Alaska via Skype, Levi Johnston took time away from hunting to drop the following bits of knowledge on our domes:
- On whether he likes cougars: “A little bit, yeah.”
- On whether Sarah Palin is America’s top cougar: “Not my favorite, no.”
- On if he’d ever pose nude: “It depends on the money, man.”
- On being a gay pin-up boy: “I think it’s great man. Um, I like my fans.”
- On how much he pays Bristol Palin in child support: "Come on man, you know you have to talk to my lawyer about that."
- On if there were any gays in Wasilla, Alaska: “Oh yeah. We got gays in Wasilla, Anchorage. They’re all up here.”

La Toya Jackson has come to her senses.
Following rumors that the entertainer might exploit her brother's death and go Dancing with the Stars, La Toya told Access Hollywood that this wouldn't be the case.
“I’ve been approached to do‘Dancing With the Stars. The fact of the matter is, I won’t be doing it, simply because of the circumstances that (are) going on at the moment.”
While Jackson is out, another interesting competitor might be in.
On his radio show this morning, Howard Stern said wife Beth Ostrosky was heading to Los Angeles to take part in a reality show. That's all the information we have at the moment, but it would make sense.
The final Dancing with the Stars roster wlll be revealed on Monday. Who do you wanna see on it?
Sources close to Jon and Kate Gosselin say their noisy argument last night, which ended with the cops showing up at their house, started after Kate learned that her ex wanted to leave the kids with Stephanie Santoro - a babysitter favored by Jon.
Kate apparently has serious trust issues with Santoro, and doesn't want her playing nanny to the kids. Perhaps because Jon is rumored to be nailing her.
She therefore went to the house to watch the kids instead of Stephanie, and Jon was unhappy to see her, sparking a fight that ended with Kate calling 911.
Jon pretty much confirmed the details this morning at the house.
No comment on whether he's been spending late nights at the bar in Reading, Pa., where Stephanie Santoro works when she's not doing him babysitting.
Kate Gosselin is reportedly not a huge fan of Stephanie Santoro, Jon's personal favorite babysitter and possible new bedpost notch. Hard to imagine why.
Sources close to Kate Gosselin also confirm that she was the one who dialed up the police last night after she and Jon got into a major blowout over this.
Police arrived at the Gosselins' expansive Pennsylvania home shortly after the call was made, but were only at the residence for around 10 minutes' time.
Basically, just long enough to make everyone simmer down. Kate eventually left the house and stayed at a nearby Days Inn, as it was Jon's turn with the kids.
Who sucks more?
As police ramp up their investigation of Michael Jackson's death, a felony charge of manslaughter or even worse seems like an inevitability for Dr. Conrad Murray.
The best (or only) defense for Jackson's personal physician, a number of legal experts believe, may be a total smear campaign against the deceased music star.
Police are currently tracking Propofol shipments sent to Murray at the time he treated Jackson, believing the anesthetic to be the drug that killed the singer.
Mark Geragos, who successfully represented Michael Jackson during his 2004 child molestation trial, and most recently defended Chris Brown, spoke to E! Thursday, explaining why he rejected an overture to defend Dr. Conrad Murray.
Geragos thinks the doctor may wind up charged with murder, and that the embattled Murray will be forced to employ a scathing criticism of Jackson as a strategy.
"Ultimately, that may be what the defense is, to say things about Michael that I'm just not going to say," Geragos said. "Whatever is required by somebody who is going to defend the doctor, is not something I can do ethically."
Or personally. "I've been approached," he said of the possibility that he would defend Dr. Conrad Murray. "But clearly I have a conflict of interest."
"I have represented Michael Jackson and I would not ever want to be in a position where I was deprecating Michael in any way, shape or form."
Rehashing Jackson's drug addictions and alleged doctor shopping - reports claim the singer sought prescriptions under 19 aliases - is one angle.
Three prescription drugs, including Xanax, were found in Jackson's system at his time of death, and Geragos suspects efforts at tracking down the drugs' source s the reason for the indefinitely delayed Michael Jackson toxicology results.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has put Bobby Brown on notice.
The next time the R&B singer and renowned deadbeat sets foot in the cradle of the American Revolution, he could be walking straight into a jail cell.
A judge just issued a warrant for the jackass' arrest after he failed to appear in court, reportedly for flaking out on child support payments. Again.
According to the Boston Herald, Brown hasn't forked over $45,000 in child support payments for the two teenage children he had with Kim Ward.
Hopefully Scott Disick is paying attention.
Bobby Brown is staring at another mug shot in Massachusetts.
Brown is required to pay $5,000 in child support per month for the kids, Bobby Jr. and Laprincia, who live with his ex-girlfriend Ward in Stoughton, Mass.
It's not the first time Brown has been in hot water for being a serial deadbeat - dude spent four days in the slammer in 2007 for missing child support.
Not to be deterred, Brown welcomed his fifth child in June. The mother is Bobby Brown’s longtime girlfriend and sometime manager Alicia Etheridge.
He also has a 16-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Houston-Brown, with his former wife, musical collaborator and punching bag Whitney Houston.
As an untalented singer, Brooke Hogan is trying to build a career on two things:
- Her famous last name;
- Her large breasts.
So far, so not very good.
That's why Brooke is looking to expand her repertoire and step into a few celebrity feuds in order to remain relevant.
For instance, during an interview on Sirius radio this week, she laid into Heidi Montag, Beyonce and Cassie nude photos. Here are excerpts from it:
On Heidi Montag: "I don't like Heidi Montag. I made a diss record on her."
On Beyonce: "She needs to go and make some babies and chill."
On Cassie's naked picture scandal: "Don't show it if it's not right. It's all stretched out."
