With so much talk about Jessica Simpson, Gisele Bundchen and even Abby McGrew these days, sports fans seem to have overlooked Sylvie van der Vaart.

Sylvie is the wife of soccer star Rafael van der Vaart - and she might even put Gisele to shame when it comes to looking good.

Some celebrity news photographers spotted a casual Lauren Conrad yesterday, which is worthy of a post on its own. She's really cute!

But what we're really writing about is that The Hills star has announced that her nuch-anticipated fashion line is now being sold in stores.

The 22-year-old Lauren Conrad said of her clothing line:

"I'm excited to announce that my clothing line, the Lauren Conrad Collection, is now available in stores. My spring line has been shipped out to stores. Last night, I launched my line at Intuition in Los Angeles, and I have to say that it was amazing to see my clothes hanging in a boutique."

"The complete collection should be on the site by the end of this week. Also, the Dolly Print scarf, which was sold out, is back in stock. I hope you all like it and thank you for your support. My Linea Pelle handbag collection is also available."

We've checked out Lauren's spring clothing line and we have to say, it's a sharp website. Our interns tell us that the clothes are pretty hip, too.

Not that they can afford them. Lauren's line is a tad pricey for gals earning meager wages blogging celebrity gossip. $75 tank top? Forget about it!

On a side note, Lauren's line includes a dress called "Whitney," no doubt in honor of her beautiful friend, co-worker and co-star, Whitney Port.

"She desperately needed help," a source said of the actress, whose credits include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the Spider-Man movies and other hit films.

"She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears. She's not in a good place right now, but thankfully, she's getting the help she needs."

Hey, if she wasn't in said good place and receiving said help, this sounds just like Britney Spears.

Eva Mendes is also currently at Cirque undergoing rehab. In the past, Lindsay Lohan and Richie Sambora were patients there.

Straight outta the psych ward, Britney Spears pulled into the her familiar stomping grounds - the Beverly Hills Hotel - yesterday afternoon and was faced with a paparazzi crush she hasn't seen or experienced in ... like a week!

Soon after arriving at her home away from home, the troubled singer was met by Adnan Ghalib, her paparazzi boyfriend. They left shortly thereafter. Adnan, too, was greeted by mass hysteria when he arrived. Here's a picture ...

After meeting at the hotel, Britney and Adnan Ghalib drove over to the law offices of Adam Streisand, the lawyer who, on Spears' behalf, objected to Jamie Spears being named co-conservator of her estate earlier this week.

Britney was released yesterday because the hospital said it could no longer hold her against her will. Expect Britney's father, Jamie, to be back in court very soon, fighting for the right to protect Brit and control what she does.

The Drug Enforcement Administration has launched an investigation into how Heath Ledger got the prescription drugs that caused his death.

DEA officials have requested copies of Ledger's autopsy, as well as the original police report, according to numerous news sources.

"It's an ongoing investigation by the NYPD and, as always, we're standing by to assist other investigations," said Steve Robertson, a special agent with the DEA.

According to the New York Medical Examiner's autopsy results released Wednesday, Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

Heath Ledger (1979-2008) passed away January 22.

Six types of drugs were found in Heath Ledger's apartment:

• Oxycodone, a painkiller marketed as OxyContin
• Diazepam and alprazolam, names for anti-anxiety drugs Valium and Xanax
• Hydrocodone, used in a number of painkillers, including Vicodin
• Temazepam and doxylamine, sleep aids

"We're trying to educate that legal drugs - these prescription drugs - can be just as dangerous as more 'hardcore' drugs if misused or abused," Robertson said.

"It's sad to say, but this is a perfect example of how even the so-called ‘safe drugs' can cost somebody their life."

An alleged drug video of Ledger taking and/or discussing substances turned up online in recent days but public outcry stopped TV shows from airing it.

Last night's American Idol was billed as the "best of the rest." So we expected a handful of solid singers, many of whom would move on to Hollywood and even a few that have already been named as part of this season's final 24, according to our American Idol spoilers.

We weren't disappointed.

Amy Davis: Might she be this year's Antonella Barba? No, not because we've heard anything about Davis' oral skills outside of singing, but because she's a certified hottie! The former Nashville Star contestant can carry a tune, we guess, but her past modeling photos have us too distracted to tell.

Britney Spears has been quietly released from the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center today after a week of treatment, the Los Angeles Times reports.

UCLA doctors determined Britney didn't pose legal danger to herself or to others such that they could continue to hold her against her will.

Unlike the spectacle surrounding her trip to the Westwood medical facility last week, she slipped out with relatively little fanfare.

A private security detail escorted her in contrast to last week when more than 10 LAPD officers escorted Spears to the hospital via motorcade.

She's back: Britney Spears was taken by ambulance to the hospital on Jan. 31, and was initially held there under a 72-hour psychiatric hold.

Under the treatment of her psychiatrist, Dr. Deborah Nadel, Spears' stay at UCLA was then extended to a 14-day hold as of Sunday.

Britney Spears' father, Jamie Spears, was granted temporary legal control over his daughter's affairs Friday, and the conservatorship giving him that power was extended this week to February 14 - following a brutal battle in court.

Court documents released late Tuesday reveal Jamie Spears' conversations with Britney in the hospital, and her mom Lynne Spears' claims that Britney's pal and supposed manager, Sam Lutfi, was abusing and drugging her.

Even with Britney Spears' release, the conservatorship remains in place. Sources close to the case said UCLA was likely release her before the 14-day extension as she became cooperative and relatively stable.
