Tatum O'Neal was due to be arraigned in New York Monday after being busted for buying crack cocaine near her home, according to authorities.

Police say the Oscar winner was seen making the illicit purchase at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tatum O'Neal was tossed in jail overnight and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Also arrested at the scene was a 33-year-old man, believed to be a dealer.

The New York Post says O'Neal told cops, "You know who I am, right?" She said she was "researching a part - I'm doing this for a part as a junkie."

She is also quoted as asking detectives, "Can't we just forget about this?"

Tatum O'Neal is the daughter of actor Ryan O'Neal and the ex-wife of John McEnroe. In her autobiography, she says she was abandoned by a drug addict mom (actress Joanna Moore) at age seven and began using drugs by 14.

The winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for Paper Moon in 1973, O'Neal chronicled her struggles with addiction in her 2004 memoir, A Paper Life. The actress completed rehab in 1996 and claimed to be clean.

Last night's MTV Movie Awards paid homage to veterans and young stars.

While Johnny Depp picked up a pair of popcorn trophies - for Best Comedic Performance and Best Villian - Zac Efron represented the teen crowd well with a win for Breakthrough Performance. Here's a shot of the adorable High School Musical star accepting his award:

The Hills' Audrina Patridge and her sister, Casey Patridge, were out having a few drinks in West Hollywood two nights ago - and wouldn't you know it, the evening played out like a real-life episode of The Hills.

According to TMZ, Audrina was saying how she's now "totally exclusive" with grease ball boyfriend Justin-Bobby (a.k.a. Justin Brescia). Ewww.

Even more amazing is that Lauren Conrad is giving her the cold shoulder, just like she gave Heidi Montag after she became so devoted to Spencer Pratt.

It gets worse. Audrina said she is seriously thinking about moving out of LC's house in The Hills and ... moving in with Justin-Bobby! OMFG, WTF!?

Amy Winehouse to the stage over the weekend at Portugal's Rock In Rio festival. Of course, the drug addict showed up late to her own show.

She played for 55 minutes and her voice cracked a couple of times in her set. She told the audience she was having "throat issues."

That may or may not be code for alcohol and crack addiction.

WINE-HOUSED: The struggling wife of Blake Fielder-Civil tries in vain to get through a live performance ... of course, it's easier said than done.

Fans of singer Clay Aiken, also known as "Claymates" are showing support after a representative for producer David Foster confirmed that Aiken is fathering a child. David's sister, music producer Jaymes Foster, is the mother.

"OMG Clay Aiken is my Hero," writes one fan on a Clay site.

"I love him and wish him the best of luck!"

Adds another on the same site:

"Now today I almost choked on my sandwich, Clay is going to be a father? And in three months? It blew me over. All I can say is 'Congratulations!' That is going to be one handsome and talented baby."

Still, some have expressed doubts about Clay Aiken's impending fatherhood.

"How can he have time with his baby if he's always on a busy schedule. Like tours, CD releases, talk show[s]. Life becomes crazy with a baby."

Overcoming numerous obstacles in their relationship - such as a rumored porn addiction for one half of the couple and the constant premise of awful human being Denise Richards throughout - Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen walked down the aisle together yesterday.

The pair got married at a private estate in Los Angeles, as a source on the scene said "they're well matched and incredibly happy."

Brooke Mueller is now Mrs. Charlie Sheen. Good luck with that, honey.

Mueller and Sheen exchanged vows in front of about 60 close friends and family. Among those in attendance were Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart, who first introduced the couple in 2006.

"Brooke really wanted to walk down the aisle in a big way, but Charlie insisted they keep it simple and small," an insider told People.
