Phew.

The night before Kim Kardashian was officially announced as part of the season seven cast on Dancing with the Stars, she cut her foot. Badly.

Fear spread among the sex tape star and ridiculously rich community; might one of their own not be able to participate on the show?!?

Fortunately, Kim is gonna suck is up, partner with Mark Ballas and put her best Dancing with the Stars foot forward this season. She recenty blogged about the injury on her official website:

What happened was this: I was checking emails in my hotel room and placed my computer on a mirrored desk. There were parts of the glass mirror that were cracked, and when I finished up my work and got up, my foot rubbed against it and it sliced it open.

Kim Kardashian was wheeled into the hospital, but she danced her way out of it. Sort of.

I was rushed by an ambulance to an emergency room nearby and had it checked out! I did not end up getting stitches because it will actually slow the healing process down - and I need to do whatever is safest but fastest healing wise. So, my doctor just "dermabonded" it - basically surgically gluing it back together and keeping it bandaged up!

It was more scary than anything, and all that blood just freaked me out! But I am okay and my foot will be fine!

Demi Lovato thinks that Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas look like a great couple. Just one problem: They aren't one.

"They would look good together, but too bad they're not," the young singer told Us Weekly this weekend at the Arthur Ashe Kids' Day Concert in New York City. "They just get along."

Lovato added that she isn't dating anyone, either, while stating that any future beau would need to be approved by the more famous trio in the world.

"They always have my back," she said of The Jonas Brothers. "Kevin is always like, 'Do you need anything? Water?' I'm like, 'No, I'm fine... They really help me out with things I am going through."

Now this is a cute father-daughter pair. Well at least the second half. After a date night with wife Katie Holmes over the weekend, Tom Cruise and two-year-old daughter Suri Cruise get ready to hit the road in New York City Monday.

Having already lined up a guest spot on Greek, The Hills star Lauren Conrad is now filming a guest spot on the CW series Privileged this week!

The 22-year-old will play - come on, who else - herself and attend a bash thrown by the show's central characters, twins Rose (Lucy Kate Hale) and Sage (Ashley Newbrough), that gets, like, totally out of control. OMG!

The episode will air October 7. We look forward to see it, of course - and would like to recommend Gossip Girl or 90210 for LC's next cameo!

As for her more familiar role - herself, but on The Hills - Lauren Conrad was in typical form last night. Recap of that coming later this morning ...

Why? Do we really have to explain? Are you seriously questioning The Hollywood Gossip instead of thanking us? Good, good. We didn't think so.

The unveiling of the Dancing with the Stars cast and a fourth American Idol judge made this quite the banner day for TV news.

We had Kim Kardashian and the new Dancing cast pretty much pegged, but the latter - Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Kara DioGuardi joining American Idol when the musical competition returns this January - came out of left field.

A week after Lo and Audrina's showdown, Lauren Conrad opens up to beau Doug Reinhardt about the aftermath on tonight's episode of The Hills.

"It was kind of a disaster," she tells him over lunch.

Doug Reinhardt lets her remarks sink in for a moment and then responds: "Everything, everybody in your life is hectic... Let's go do somethin.'"

How can you not love a man like that?

Later in the conversation, Lauren Conrad invites Doug to a birthday party for Stephanie Pratt that weekend. We all know that won't end well.

Now that the official Dancing with the Stars season seven cast has been announced, we have to ask:

Is the show courting controversy in order to increase ratings?

Unlike American Idol - whose popularity sagged last year, leading to the hiring of Kara DioGuardi as a fourth judge - Dancing with the Stars doesn't appear to need a shake-up. Nevertheless, we can't help but wonder what the producers were thinking for two reasons:

1. Kim Kardashian nude photos;
2. Brooke Burke nude photos.

Indeed, two of the quasi celebrities chosen for the upcoming season are famous almost solely due to their penchant for getting naked. Each has appeared in Playboy and one has gotten absolutely railed by Ray J on tape.

Hide the kiddie porn, Charlie Sheen. You're about to be a father again!

The actor and wife Brooke Mueller are reportedly expecting a baby. It would be the third child for Sheen (he has to two daughters with Satanic ex-wife Denise Richards) and the first for Mueler.

“They are so happy and excited,“ an insider told In Touch Weekly. “They are in love, and this news makes things even better.”

Might an American Idol catfight be brewing?

Paula Abdul appeared on Phoenix's 104.7 KISS FM Johnjay & Rich radio show this morning and sounded less than thrilled about the addition of Kara DioGuardi to the reality competition's judging table.

"I am concerned about the audience and acceptance," Abdul said, adding the profound prediction that "time will tell. We'll see."

Kara DioGuardi can write songs. But can she judge those that sing them?

The quirky judge added that American Idol producers hired DioGuardi because they "wanted to try a change."

"They always tried for a fourth judge because it followed the format of the original show, Pop Idol," Abdul said. "We haven't had much luck with that working, but we're gonna give it another try."

Sounds like Paula is concerned about another female stealing her completely insane thunder on the show.
