As his daughter's legal conservator, Jamie Spears will do anything to protect her. But is he taking his court-appointed powers too far?

As owner and webmaster of popular Britney Spears fan site BreatheHeavy.com, Jordan Miller has spent the past five years supporting the troubled star.

It's ironic, then, that he's about to be shut down by the pop singer herself - or at least the powers that be who control every aspect of her existence.

While Miller asserts that the sole purpose of the website is "to support the icon of our generation, Britney Spears, and to continuously stick by her through good and bad," Spears' father Jamie has taken legal action over some of the content.

"I have been battling the conservatorship Britney is currently placed under for months now," Miller wrote to fans on the site's home page Friday.

Jamie Spears does not mess around.

"When I did not conform to demands Britney’s management and father, Jamie Spears, recently put upon BreatheHeavy to stay quiet, they became angry and malicious, launching, what I feel is an unjust attack, against me and my website."

He received a legal notice from Jamie Spears' lawyers pressuring him to dismantle the site by 3 p.m. PST Friday, or face an injunction, claiming they will pursue legal action courtesy of Jamie, who is allowed to do so as her conservator.

Chalk up another few hundred grand in legal fees.

Miller also wrote that Brad Rose, a lawyer representing Spears in this case, told him in a phone call that "you are an uber-fan who’s gone a little too far."

This might be the funniest story we've ever heard.

Vince Shlomi, the pitchman best known for screaming about the incredible soaking power of the ShamWow dish rag, was arrested last month for allegedly punching a hooker in the face.

According to The Smoking Gun, Shlomi was hanging out in Miami Beach when a prostitute named Sasha Harris propositioned him for "straight sex." Shlomi paid her $1,000 for the promised act.

For Vince Shlomi's sake, we hope the ShamWow soaks up blood caused by the clenched jaw of a hooker.

When he kissed Harris, however, she suddenly "bit his tongue and would not let go," according to reports.

What's a corporate shill to do from there? Shlomi punched Harris several times until she released her grip.

Bleeding, Shlomi proceeded to run to the hotel lobby, where security called the police. Harris refused to cooperate with officers, who recovered $930 from her purse.

Prosecutors have declined to file formal charges against Shlomi. They probably couldn't stop laughing long enough to fill out any paperwork.

The troubled singer was apparently so shaken by the death of British reality TV star Jane Goody, she wanted to get a blood test. For what specifically, who knows ... but given that it's Amy Winehouse, it could be for any number of things.

Getting tested is always a good thing, but so is not doing so many drugs you're at constant risk of death. Just some food for thought there, Wino.

Despite dating one another for a good six weeks at least by now, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt aren't planning on walking down the aisle any time soon.

"People ask me these questions all the time," Paris' mom, Kathy, said at Melanie Segal's Kids Choice Awards Lounge Presented by Stouffer's in Hollywood.

"I'm not planning a wedding anytime soon for either of them!"

The HO-tel heiress has recently spoken about wanting kinds with her new beau, but Kathy laughed, "Well, she's only known him a few weeks, so I don't know."

But Paris is smitten: "I think she is very happy," Kathy said.

Reinhardt, a terrible former minor league baseball player who has also dated Lauren Conrad and Amanda Bynes in the past year, also has Kathy's seal of approval.

"I just met him. We had dinner the other night," Kathy said of the Hills alum and Laguna Beach, Calif., native. "We have only met twice, but he seems nice."

Rapper T.I. was sentenced to one year and one day in a Georgia prison as part of his plea deal with prosecutors over a 2007 felony weapons charge.

The Grammy-winning hip-hop star was accompanied by his family, manager and longtime partner Tameka Cottle (a.k.a. Tiny Cottle) at the morning hearing.

Under the terms of a deal brokered last March, T.I. pleaded guilty to a federal weapons charge and agreed to complete 1,000 hours of community service prior to his sentencing and pay a $100,000 fine in exchange for a relatively light sentence.

He must do another 500 hours of community service after getting sprung.

The 28-year-old T.I. (real name is Clifford Harris Jr.), is required to turn himself to prison within the next 60 days, but is not expected do so before May 19.

Northern Georgia District Judge Charles Pannell Jr., who praised the artist for exceeding the expectations required from his plea deal, acknowledged that T.I. had commitments that prevented him from being jailed before the May date.

"Today I would like to say thank you to some, and apologize to all," said the rapper, who will serve his time at a penitentiary to be named later.

T.I. was arrested on October 13, 2007, just before the BET Hip-Hop Awards after cops caught him trying to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers.
