WHY does EVERYONE think that a cross symbolizes Jesus for? Was he the ONLY one to be crucified on one? I guess the hundreds of thousand others that were, were just mocking him then??????
Anyway, how is this mocking Jesus? What if she is just trying to say something like "I understand that you made a great sacrifice and this is my way to show it"? Religious people are screwed in the head a lot of the times when it comes to defending their beliefs. You mention Mohamed and you get a jihad against you if you are not a Muslim. You mention Jesus and you get a Christian church group protesting you (well this IS better then them trying to kill you like some other fanatic groups).
I can see if people were upset if, while she was on that cross, said something like "My god can beat up your god and Mohamed with one arm tied behind his cross" or "Don't crucify me Bro, don't crucify me..!! Ooowwww..OOOWWW..!!"

Okay, I am a Catholic, and to be quite frank, I am not sure how authentic these pictures are. However, even if it is real, who cares??? This world, and my country in particular are getting too politically correct. Let the girl keep her crown and hopefully she goes on to do something great with her life.

Why does anyone use the term 'Jesus like'? NOBODY has
a real clue what that might be. There are billions of iconic
images out there. NONE of them can hold claim to being a
realistic image of THE Jesus ! If anything is blasphemous,
it's the insistent prevalence of what people have been told
to recognize... when an actual portrait was NEVER relayed.
Nobody knows the color of his skin, hair, or eyes. Not one
expert can say for sure what he wore, even IF 'sacrificed'.

First of all, as a Catholic Christian, this one picture means nothing to me one way or another. Secondly, as an art lover, I am not really all that impressed. Thirdly, as a thinking human being, I find all of the turmoil to be insane at best, and dangerous at the worst. Finally, Jesus Christ was a middle eastern Jew there by looking in general terms like a middle eastern Jew; i.e. dark hair, dark complexion, most likely a beard (from the era), and dark eyes. Past that, entEngle is dead on the money.
People on both sides of this argument need to grow up.

In the US we have a law called the Second Ammendment which restricts the Government from imposing religious rules on the people. Quite simply, believe any way you wish, but do not impose your rules on anyone else.

I see this picture much closer to art than to anything else. It is stupid what happens. You, guys, are no better than the Muslims that got angry with the drawings on Mahomed. Where is your sense of humor? What is the religion today? Are you still in Middle Age? Jesus, Mohamed, Allah, Buddha, etc. etc. are just characters of some very nice stories. That's all. i just dont care about picture and in my opinion people put to much into the crucifixion and not enough in to the teachings done prior to it. if the take pictures like this its her right and no one should try to judge her. besides its just art not something thats going to be put in playboy or some other adult skin magazine.

Miss France is about beauty but moslty about representing the country. It's not like being a singer or an actress, you can't make such pictures, that are so gross (because this is by far the least provocative picture that she did). I am french and I am ashamed to see the girl representing the country being a huge slut who lied about pictures she did. 3 magazines published pictures of her, all from different shots, all gross and sluty. She's just a GROSSE PUTE and should not be miss france. SALOPE !
