Valerie Begue may lose her title as Miss France. Why? Photos like this, in which she is posing like some sort of Christ figure. Or Christ Himself. Valerie Begue, you are crazy, baby.

  2. Adam Says:

    Love the shot.
nothing wrong with it.. maybe if she would lick other girls and have her breat sucked by a guy like it happened here in the us not that long ago i would say you are a crazy ho and belong into a trealer... but this is nothing baby.

  3. Mervyn Says:

Leave her alone. Nothing wrong or offensive about this.

  4. Big Shot Says:

Hot as Hell... and, apparently, going to Hell!

  5. jean Says:

    IS SHE A JEW?

  6. JB Says:

Photoshop? The top of the cross has no shadow.

  7. dale Says:

Well she did pose with a religous symbol. Is she a christian? was she mocking the Christ? If she was photographed licking the kabbala stone what would the Muslims says. What color was the pot she licked? Fair is fair don't mess with anyones religion.

  8. Pietro Says:

The Romans crucified many on the cross, including Christ. In the Americas and Europe, many have been depicted on the cross in media and entertainment. I see nothing wrong with this. I could see an issue if, perhaps, she made flagrant hand gestures or something along those lines. If anything, this is beautiful. Although I am not familiar with her background, its very possible in her mind, at the time, she was even thinking the burden Christ bared. To my fellow Christians, Merry Christmas! To my other friends, Happy Holidays!

  9. Titletown USA Says:

So if she had been sitting on Budha's lap or posing with the Kuran, that would have been acceptable and she would have been under scrutiny? I am sick and tired of this crap! If she were anyone else, this would be considered - art! Deal with it. She's not nekked so who cares. If you care, you need a life with more important things to be concerned about.

  10. tia Says:

I recently lost my mother and she was a Christian. Her faith and mine have been so valuable to me at this time. It may not seem important if you're in a happy go lucky place in life. But when your suffering faith is powerful. All faiths are important to those who follow them and absolutely deserve to be treated with respect

  11. Mary Says:

Like my mama always said "Be aware and careful of everything you do or say everyday because you never know when your past will come to haunt you...just know it will do so."

  12. Brickwall Jackson Says:

If she did this with any other religious symbol OTHER than Christian, she would have been branded racist, intolerant, you name it. In fact, if she had posed with ANYTHING Muslim, those savages would be calling for her head on a plate. Remember the teddy bear named Mohammed? Frankly, the only double standard I see is the one which seems to say that you are safe so long as you mock Christians and white people. Everyone else is protected from scrutiny.

  13. ANNIE Says:

If she was offending Islam she would be dead already.

  14. Andrew Castro Says:

^^^^ I agree with what Big Shot said...LOL

  15. Dale Says:

Give me a Break! I see nothing offensive about this at all. However, I'm sure that there will be some "Goodie two Shoes" out there that will and will want to bring this young lady down. That's the way it is when you're on top, the ones that are below are always trying to drag you down! Accentuate the Positive!

  16. Janie Says:

Tacky! And poor girl doesn't have the boobs to fill that top.

  17. Emile Barriere Says:

    Stupid is as stupid does...............

  18. roger bost Says:

    BFD

  19. Greg Says:

What's the big deal. Christ wasn't the only person to have ever been crucified. Tacky? Maybe.

  20. John Says:

I agree with Brickwall jacksons post in the sense that it is ironic how a teddy bear is named Mohammed and muslims go crazy and want to beat and toture somebody for innocent ignorance; and on the other hand she is mocking Christ here, or playing Christ. either way it is blasphemy and Christians aren't calling for her head or death. I am a Christian but I can tolerate this. I do not like it, but it is her choice. Jesus taught to love, so dont make her suffer for her ignorance.

  21. Angie Noel Says:

Seriously. Crucifixtion has been around for thousands of years, big deal that Jesus made it famous. If Christians knew anything about their faith, they'd be focusing on the burden Christ bore for all of humanity rather than the two planks of wood he died on.

Not even worst wasting time explaining. Don't be stupid.

  22. Sam Says:

Seems the Christians who don't have a life are learning from the Muslims how to get worked up about anything.
All a smoke screen to distract from real issues. News media doing a great job!

  23. Luanne Says:

If you recall, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, and Jewish leaders alike (yes, I did say alilke) all were quick to say that the Queen of Pop's stage stunt where she put hersef on a cross was blasphemy. The head of Italy's Muslim League said, "...her idea is in the worst taste and she'd do better to go home." I am a Protestant Christian, but I am smart enough to know that good Muslims, Jews, and Christians alike know this is insulting and was in bad taste.

  24. Jerome Says:

Angie- you dont be stupid. It is religious sensitivity. Or even sensitivity. Blacks were enslaved by the whites- if she was mocking that fact and was bound in chains picking cotton that would not be accepted. putting Jesus aside, why should she even mock the people that were killed other then Jesus. that is really sad when we mock death and how people were tortured.

  25. Dave Says:

The cross is a sacred symbol of Christian expression. Today, that does not mean much to people in a post-modern, liberal, democratic society. But, to those of us who are responsible and respectful to our own faith and the faith of others, this picture is very offensive. We esteem the cross as the highest affirmation of the love of God through suffering. It should not, in my opinion, be used as fodder to make headlines. No, it should not be censored, but careful, cautious attention should be paid to those who have a devout belief in Christ crucified. The same thoughtfulness that is given to symbols in other world religions should be extended to Christians. Gloria in Excelsis Deo.
