The veins mean nothing, their visibility is dictated by a low bodyfat -which steroid hormones would actually counteract. The veins are visible most likely as a result of tamoxifen or anastrozole to reduce oestrogen, as well as a thermogenic stimulant such as clenbuterol or ephedrine - that an a low carb diet and lots of weight lifting.
