I fell for Shayne right away...I liked she would not tell who her parents were...It wasn't fair ev1 said "she's an actress so is here to be on TV"....HELLO...I doubt she "needs" to do that...She is only 22, and may not be oscar material yet...but the girl does earn a living..on soaps, etc..one of the hardest, most demanding of all shows. I LOVE Lorenzo..He is one of the sexiest guys...and at his age...wow..aged very well. Gorgeous. Shayne has been raised in an obviously "public eye" lifestyle. However, to someone's credit..mom, or dad, or both..She has turned out to be a very lovely girl. Both her parents should be proud. I liked that she had the personality of a girl..a childlike quality. Yet...Had the responsibility of an adult. It may not last...statitic's may get in the way...but it has a better chance with Shayne than those other females.

Matt and Shayne are by far, w/out a doubt, the most adorable couple. Shayne outclassed all the other young women. Hope to hear more on their upcoming wedding! Matt is definitely no fool!!!!

They don't just LOOK cute together; Matt & Shayne 'feel' cute.
There's something so refreshingly daffy and protective between them, and I think that's the sort of rapport which is so rare to find.
I love how she cracked him up by pulling out all her makeup after she wiped out on the slopes. That was hilarious and adorably ditsy.
She's just herself, no shame or apologies. The whiney bit did annoy me tho', so for a short time I didn't want her to continue... but then Shayne showed a depth and compassion which turned me back toward rooting for her.
Congratulations, Matt! You hit the jackpot, and you did it because you have the capacity to look past Hollywood glitter to see the human beings who feel just as you do.

Shayne's grandmother is Arlene Dahl not Ester Williams as stated by Sharris. Arlene is the mother of Lorenzo. Ester was married to Fernando but never had any children with him.

Correction to the previous message re: Esther Williams was married to Fernando Lamas but she was not the mother of Lorenzo (Shayne's father). His mother (and Shayne's grandmother) was Arlene Dahl, who was married to Fernando before Esther Williams.

Did anyone know that Shayne's grandmother was the famous actress Ester Williams. She is Fernando Lamas's mother. She played in lots of movies in the 50's and was alway a swimmer. She had won a gold medal and was so beautiful that Meto Goldwyn Meyer signed her to a contract. She is still beautiful. I guess I am the oldest one watching the bachelor and Shayne was my pick from the first.

Great !!He picked Shayne. I watched the finger nails in the pre-view and Shaynes were wider than the other girls so I figured the hand they showed in ad was Shaynes and it was. In the past, I watched some bachelor, but I've never been so into it until this bachelor london calling show. I think Matt is so gorgous, plus, he seems like a very nice guy. I am praying and hoping that he'll choose Shayne, because I really think Shayne is a wonderful girl. She's not just pretty, but I think she's smart, caring, and loving too. I feel she's much more mature than other 22 yrs old girls. I hope Shayne will win, otherwise, i'll be so disappointed, and really hate this Matt guy for being such an idiot.

My husband and I both think Shayne is truly gorgeous and she and Matt look beautiful together. You can tell they are really into each other.
