He is her “knight in shining armor”…she is a beautiful and sensitive young woman….I wish them well.
I loved Shayne from the beginning, although she was not my favorite until Amanda(my previous favorite) was eliminated the week before the finale. Therefore, i switched over to Shayne and was so excited when Matt proposed to her last night. They make a beautiful couple and i really hope they last. They are perfect for each other!
She was my second choice for Matt but when my first choice got kicked out (Amanda) I was happy that she was still there and end up with him at the end. way to go Matt! Good Luck to you both ! Please shane Keep the american ladies proud of you. don’t do too much drama out there.

i have been a huge shayne fan since the first few episodes and i was so happy that matt proposed to her! i got the chills when he got down on his knee and asked her…i know they are perfect together and are so happy!!
The bachelor is a fool. She’s a 22 year old actress . . . this is just a leading role for her.

I’m so happy for both and think he made the right choice and I totally admire this woman for her early hard earned accomplishments in her career. I think that she is sincere and this will work.

And although the Caddy Women of The View think that his nick name “Monkey is stupid”, she was a gymnast and is light on her feet and obviously petite. I love it, I think it shows how endearing she is to him

I’m a 72-year-old Great Grandmother, so feel I’ve seen a bit of human nature in my time! I cried when Matt proposed to Shayne. Yes, she’s very young. Yes, she’s an actress. Where is it written that young actresses can not be sincerely in love? They’re a lovely couple, and have strong family values behind them. Her parents are divorced, but have an amicable relationship. I’m praying Matt and Shayne will be a shining example for young people in both America and the UK.

It’s so refreshing to see the kindness in everyone’s words toward Shayne. I thought she was just adorable from day one! I’m not a fanatic or a reality blog junkie, but I just can’t get enough of this darling couple. He by far has been my favorite bachelor and she was my pick from the first episode. She didn’t want drama, didn’t try to steal time away from the other girls, she was sweet to everyone and I hate that all these blogs say such mean things about her. I think they found each other because they can show each other who each really are and with great ease. I cried too when he proposed. I was sweating it when the editors edited the show making it seem as if he was going to choose Chelsea. I kept saying I can’t watch Shayne get her heart broke; but then, yeah, I was so happy when I saw Chelsea get out of the limo first. Nothing against any of the girls; Shayne was just too adorable the whole way thru and she was infectious. I think they’ll do just great!
As a Man, I know what Men want. Matt was and is REAL with feelings of Love for Shayne. She is genuine, stopped the Drama of other girls Cat Fights. Couldn’t watch that Whacko kissing Matt. It’s real folks, I just hope the Popparotsi’s give them room to grow and prosper. Best of Luck to them both.

Shayne, Please do NOT waist valuable time worring about Women, Matt selected YOU. The past is the past and you can only controll what happens in the future. I, like majority of others, feel that you are the perfect mate for Matt, who by the way is The Best.. Spend all of your days making the man of your dreams extremely happy. Other women want what you have, so please do not spend valuable time worrying about them. Make him feel that he can NOT live without you. I LOVE THE TWO OF YOU TOGETHER, you give all of us single women HOPE. Everyday should be spent inhancing your Life and saying to youself,”How can I make Matt’s Life Happier, having me in it”. Remember, Matt doen’t like DRAMA. Shayne, don’t let womem of America down.
The show was hilarious and entertaining, got good ratings and that’s what it’s about for the network. They chose a good leading character in Matt, but it is hard to believe he is as intelligent as he’s marketed to be. Am sure Shayne is there for a good time with Matt and am sure they will have good times together,,,,but a real future? True Love?? Family values??? Give us a break here!! Surely noone really believes this gunk!
Matt & Shayne seem to have a lot of fun together. It is that sense of humor, applied to all that they do, what can help their relationship grow and last. Cheers to them!
