Why is it when it comes to a Democrat getting Caought all the news media goes wild with it. I wish this had not have happened but John is a human being just like the rest of us. I feel bad for his wife and Family. I just wish they would put all the Republicans names all over for the whole world to see. Like they do the Democrats. The News Media is scum when they want to be. Bill clinton the best President we have ever had did wrong as well. But he done his Job and we were so so much better off while he was the President. I think John would also make a fine President. Bush has us in such a mess it's just sad in what Bush has done to America. come on news media show you have the B--- to post someof the Republicans world wide like you do the ones for the working class people the poor and the middle class people that is. The Repblicans have always been for the rich and always will. Bush is just a simple kina silly kinda Guy. He thinks he is the Prsident of the whole world. We all need to leave John and his Family alone and let them and God deal with them. God bless America.

Karma is waiting on Ms. Hunter for certain. Edwards needs an eye exam and a shrink. His wife is 10x better looking than "Rielle" and 1000x classier. Rielle could get a job with Bill Clinton though.

So his real wife had cancer, all the more reason to get some strange on the side. He can still love his wife, its not like he was going to divorce her.

Here's a good one for ALL of you to chew on--I just had a terrible time with cancer but guess what--my gentle loving husband and I still had sex when I felt like it after 20 years of marriage. Why does everyone assume Edwards and Eliz. didn't have gentle or any other kind of sex? You are just surmising they didn't because of her illness. She is not bedbound, and was going around campaigning for John. Maybe J. just needed some ego stroking. You who said she got fat and sick was the reason--but I doubt it. KB

It makes no difference what any of them look like. Their looks are irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the human suffering that is caused by unethical behavior. John Edwards' political career inevitably will suffer, along with his marriage and his relationships with his children. He has sunk down low in my estimation because he cheated on his sparkly, classy wife. Even if she wasn't suffering from cancer, this would be a low blow for Elizabeth. John Edwards must be much less intelligent than I imagined. However, he didn't cheat alone. What kind of woman gets involved with a high-profile married man? Is this yet another case of sleeping one's way to the top? Still, there's no call for the media to pretend to take the moral high ground. The smear campaign is probably more damaging to Elizabeth Edwards and her family than finding out about the affair in the first place. Who will be helped by this knowledge? No one. Who will be hurt? Many.

Don't get me wrong--I am not condoning what John did. Some of that PLANE footage where he relaxed made him look less "I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior". I felt I could see an undertone in his attitude that belied his holier than thou general attitude. We have all seen that look before where he puts on one face for the public and looks jerky as though he though the microphone was turned off later. It makes my stomach queasy. KB

In order for a man to cheat, a woman must open her legs. Yes, he is totally wrong, but SHE should've been the better person, and not put herself in this predicament. I feel almost ready to excuse him, but He has his own demons to fight. He is guilty, shame on him, but she is despicable. I have always voted republican, but I had a tough decision to make if Edwards was Obama's running mate, because as a fellow north carolinian, I valued him as our own.
I have no sympathy for him, and as for her, She will live long enough to pay the consequences of her behavior.

HEEEERE'S JOHNNY!
Unlike Eileen, I must say that I'm happily disappointed by Johnny Edwards. It somehow gives a sense of Justice existing in the world to know that those $400 haircuts led to something, even if that something is a walking abomination in a bad blonde wig. Johnny is a funny guy, a real comic talent. Pity that he can't be part of the Barry and Johnny show now, though Barry "Snake Oil Merchant" Obama has about as much moral standing as our $400 haircut man Jackie Edwards.
