Why is anyone thinking that the Edwards didn't have a sexlife due to her illness and that is why John cheated. He cheated because he felt a sense of entitlement, not denial. Voters should focus on removing as many long-term Congressional elites and power borkers as possible, from both parties. Fresh blood and new ideas are the "change" that we the people need. By elimination Congressional elites and power brokers, we can change the balance of power and tenure in Congress, and marginalize the damage that either an Obama or a McCain presidency will cause!

For those of you who think John Edwards had a "right" to cheat on his cancer embattled wife because there was not enough love at home, why didn't he just jack off while fantasizing about how she gave him another child at the age of 49 to replace the son he lost but that turned out to be another daughter so she went back to the bedroom and had another child at the age of 51, and thankfully, that one turned out to be a boy and a replacement for the son he lost.

John processed it inwardly and Elizabeth processed it outwardly looking earnestly for meaning in Wade's death. John/Elizabeth Edwards ran for the senate and the presidency to give meaning to Wade's life as a continuation of the political message he started as he was recognized by Hillary Clinton at the White House 3 weeks prior to his death.
