I'm thinking you dont because women need it too...the idea that only men have a libido is seriously outdated..however the thing that separates us from animals is our ability to CONTROL our bodily urges-hence the reason I dont bash some restaurant patrons over the head and steal their food just because I AM hungry...I suggest you see a marriage counselor and find out why only your husband has a "need" for what you do in the bedroom...

Or, he'd have left his wife while she was recovering from surgery (Newt Gingrich). Or, he'd have cheated on his wife, dumped her, then married the mistress (John McSame). Or, he'd have told her he was dumping her at a press conference (Rudy Giuliani).

I guess that you'd have to rank this right up there with Newt Gingrich forcing his first wife to sign their divorce papers right as she was coming out of surgery for her cancer. But what I find even sadder than these immoral acts is the fact that majority of voters in this country continue to elect and re-elect these idiots because they actually believe that these morons are doing something for them. In fact, all that they're doing is screwing everything up and screwing everyone they can get a hold of. So in essence the American voters are just as responsible for these acts of immorality as the so-called politicians because we're the one's who put them in the limelight where as a result they become narcissistic madmen.

So you are saying as long as a man loves his family it is okay to go have sex with any Tom, Dick, and Harry?? The man can or can not be in the spotlight....it doesn't matter to be a good person! There are many poeple in the spotlight that are honest people. And what's this crap about his DNA?!?! Come on!! Women, just as well as men, have a sex drive! It all revolves around honesty and controlling your urges, which is something you obviously can't do! You ought to be ashamed - you are giving all the good guys a bad rap. John Edwards' actions are not excusable, but he's no longer a candidate. The future is between him and his family. It didn't surprise me that McCain stuttered when asked to comment and then declined comment...he likely wants people to forget how he ended up with Cindy. At least Edwards didn't divorce his sick wife and marry his mistress a month later like McCain did. Why doesn't the press talk about the character of the man who IS running for the highest office.

I don't BELIEVE he told his family UNTIL his little escapade in CA. After all, Elizabeth DID NOT KNOW he saw his "ex-mistress" and if she was his ex - lay, what was he doing there at 2:30 am sneaking out the back. I really believe he was screwing her this whole time and that he got caught. Elizabeth, class act that she is, has to cover for the sum bag for the SAKE of her young children. After all, that video of him ranting and raving about how honest he is and his moral are the best for the country (while some woman not seen on the video is giggling). If he really felt contrite, he should put give his family enough money to live for the rest of their lives, he gives the rest away to those poor Americans whom I am certain he has mocked when the cameras were off. I guess I don't really see anything wrong with infidelity. I don't think that having an affair makes a "lie" or "sham" of his marriage. He and Elizabeth have done a lot together--they have a deep relationship. Who knows what the affair was about, but maybe some fun, passion and stress relief. I guess I don't see anything wrong with that, and I don't understand why Americans care so much about monogamy in their leaders, when a) so few of them are monogamous and b) so many regular wives and husbands "cheat" on their spouses.
