I had the opposite happen. As a man I was hospitalized for an Aortic Valve replacement, spent 45 days in hospital, 45 days in rehab and my wife ran off with another man the week of my 2nd surgery declaring the night before the surgery: I hope you die tommorrow! I married a woman 15 years junior and the only thing good that came of this marriage was 2 very special boys, who I love dearly! I have been in the middle of a divorce for 18 months, spent over $40K and the property trial is in February. I will be relieved to have this behind me, I am fighting for joint custody of the children and have a good chance to prevail in the custody and property division after 4 short years of marriage. Prenups successful men or women. One can only be subdivided once or twice in this life!
