American Idol creator chose "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke for Adam Lambert to sing during the show's finale. He did a great job with it.

What a brilliant performance! So much depth of feeling. It takes real guts to take on a Sam Cooke song. He planned every detail, right down to his amethyst cuff links.
Never seen ANYONE look better in a suit. Gorgeous, gorgeous, MULTI-TALENTED man!
