I do think that their friendship can go more.
I think they need to date.
Him and Vanessa broke up a long time ago!

Okay..it's me again.
The picture of Zac and Nikki I think Nikki has a flowered shirt on.
Well...they are soo cute together!
And like they both said...that kiss at the end of the movie was not rehearsed and that it was all natural!
Now why in the world would they want to kiss if they didn't like/love eachother??
Okay..you guys just want Zac with Vanessa because she is either "hot" "Pretty" or "skinny"
Well...you can tell by all of the videos and all of the stuff they have said about eachother that they are in love.
On an interview...Zac tells them he loves girls that are courageous...and he keeps bragging about how he loves that Nikki has a lot of Courage.
Nikki loves a guy who is beautiful in the inside and takes people for who they are and she keeps bragging about Zac being that.
They are in LOVE people!
Get over it.
And you girls who think you guys are going to get Zac...get a life.

I fell in love with this twosome after seeing Hairspray. They are adorable together and just seemed so comfortable and happy whenever they did interviews or premieres. I have hoped they would stay good friends and maybe when they are older and wiser realize they have something special and become an item.
They are both so young and need to be free to just experience other people and have some plain old fun. I love Nikki and Zac and wish them the best. She is beautiful and deserves to be with a hunk like Zac.
Zac needs to free himself of Vanessa and do some growing up before he gets stuck in a permanent relationship with the likes of her.

I think that Zac would like to be with someone who has a brain and isn't shallow. You know that Vanessa wanted to be a plastic. he wants someone really. I think Nikki is the best choice. Nikki has a soul, and is better singer too.

I to fell in with them in the film, and I started to wonder if the chemistry that they had in film was because they are good actors, or was it real. Now that I have done research I see that it is real. But it is possible for two people of the opposite sex to be that close and nver date. I know because I am extremely close to all the guys that I am friends with and I AM NOT DATING any of them.
Both of them have admitted to be best friends, and that they are close. But this was taken when they were DOING
publicity for 'Hairspray', I would love to see pictures of them now.
I am sure that they are so close. IF you really interested check out the MTV movie awards, he thanked her and she yelled at him "I love you Zacy" now would she call him that if they were not close.
He is free to be with whomever he wants, and after what just happened to her I hope that he is there to support her because that is what best friends do. Yes they care about each other, he said that she is like to a sister to him, and isn't he moving in with Vanessa.
Yes they did kiss at the end of the film, I love that kiss-it was scripted they were supposed to kiss, but the thing that I find amazing is that they didn't rehearse that kiss, cause in movies every scene is rehearsed.
So what if they are best friends, those are the ones that always make the best lovers anyway, and besides at this point they are both still young, and if they do decide to get together it probably won't be for years anyway.
If you look at some of the couples in hollywood and other places that are older, they were friends for years and than one day things changed.
But we don't what they are like in private, he seems like a very guy anyway, I just read an article abotu how he doesn't want to talk abotu his relationship with Vanessa because he is not sure how it will last and he wants to enjoy it. Also we don't know how often he and Nikki keep in touch, I am hoping that it a lot because they genually seem like they car for one another. I do wish them all the best whether they are together or not. I still do love the interview from MOD when he was asked if would date anyone from teh cast who would it be and why? he said that they have a thing but he is not sure what it is.
I hope that they are really truly the best of friends, I know that they are both actors so they know how to pull off a performance but from watching interviews and seeing pictures, it is true that they are extermely close. If you notice, it seems that she is the one person from that film that he is closest to. So regardless of what their relationship is I wish them all the best and that they stay as close as they are for along time because when that wonderful comes into your life you never ever get rid of it.

Regardless of what HATERZ say, I have a feeling deep down dat Zac n Nikki r in love w/ each other,but they wont hook up 4 a while.... i also think dat hes juss w/ vanessa becuz of high skool musical n becuz ppl expect him to be w/ her but nikki is so much prettier n way more talented dan Nessa will ever be!!!! sorry Nessa fans but its true... let em luv who he wants.. it doesnt matter wat we think but wat he feels 4 Nikki or dat skanky girl Nessa. byers!!!!!!
