i am so sorry that I bought the cookbook deceptively delicious. It wasn't until after I bought it that it was bought to my attention that so much deception was going on.Missy I wish you well. You have a lot to be proud of and i hope justice is
prevailed. Had i of known i would of much rather of had your cookbook. kelly neson

I disagree with Kelly. I find Missy to be yet another leech in our scoiety who believes she can get something from someone else through a lawsuit.
Everyone blames the lawyers but the reality is that if we did not have people like Missy, we would have not have a need for so many of them.

I agree with the last comment. Missy is one of these people that has little talent and knows it and therefore has to latch on to a lawsuit of a famous person and try to get rich in that manner. If she was indeed confident in her own talent, she would ignore this and continue on her own path. But, alas, she has no talent. Trying to get a buck the easy way.

Missy is pathetic.

Just read the lawsuit on the smoking gun. Missy makes a good case against Jessica especially with timing, Jerry's rude public comments, and identical recipes. Those Seinfields have no originality!

The people above that are critical of Missy Lapine are clearly ignorant of the facts. She's a former publisher/writer for Eating Well magazine and published her book first. Ms. Seinfeld's book has some of the exact same recipes. I guess they feel it's a coincidence that Harper Collins, who published the Seinfeld book, had seen Missy's book over a year before and turned her down!

Good Luck Missy, we like your way much better.

Missy presented her book to a publisher who rejected it, and then several months later published a book by Jessica Seinfeld with many of the exact same recipes, same cover design, etc, etc; and this is supposed to just be a coincidence? And Missy is supposedly the villain here? Her case seems pretty solid from what I've read.

I am so proud of Missy for suing those AWFUL Seinfelds!
Jessica Seinfeld has clearly plaigiarized someone else's YEARS of hard work. Jessica is a gold-digging, adulteress who will stop at nothing to get whatever she wants.

Who said anything about Jessica Seinfeld being an adulteress?! Mel is apparently upset about something... As for the lawsuit: shame on you Missy. The only point in which she sued, for what I can assume is a huge sum of money, was just after Jessica's book became a huge success. If I publish my recipe for green bean casserole, will she sue me too? Or will she wait until my book is popular? She got jealous and when the Seinfelds called her out, she retaliated with defamatory lawsuits ontop of plagiarism lawsiuts. Who cares if someone has the same recipes as someone else... isn't that the point of sharing them? Grow up Missy.
