I disagree Brandy. I believe in reaching out to people who are so obviously hurting. I know it helped me when I was overweight and in denial.

Craig, a word to the wise: Give it up. There is NO helping someone like this Cindy person. There is even less use trying to be nice to her or trying to be her friend.

OK. Not important call. LOL. One more thing. And don't go off on me please. But if the reflection in the mirror is not a healthy one. If you are overweight then no I don't believe you are truly happy with yourself. When I was fat I lied to myself and to everyone else that I was OK with my body. But you can't feel or look your best when you're fat. It effects everything. You will be amazed at how much better life is when you are in shape. If you look in the mirror and are happy seeing a fat person looking back at you that is self-hatred, not self love honey. Your body is your temple and if you are happy seeing it being destroyed then you've got issues that are heavier than the spare tire. A lot of self-work is involved in becoming brave enough to take control of your life but it has to be done. Lying to yourself and other people about who you are or how happy you are does more damage to you than the words of the people you are arguing with.

Craig, I have to ask this, I am alittle confused about your remark that you didn't consider people that told you to loose weight as being homophobic. That doesn't even make a lick of sense. Your weight has NOTHING to do with you sexually lifestyle. That was just silly to even state that comment. Not trying to be mean, but it was since they have nothing to do with the other. There are millions of straight people that are over weight. But I must say that I do agree with your comment about people looking in the mirror. That is what I was trying to state and I pretty much got that was what everyone else has been trying to state. It only matters how you feel about yourself, NOT what anyone else thinks about you!
