this is so stupid that one will think a black man is part this and part that when both parents are black is father is from another country great haiti has a very great heritage and history one of the greatest black nation during slavery so therefore usher is just a black man whose father was born in another country from his mother there is no such thing as part this and part that senseless

Usher's dad is straight black. Usher went to school here in Chattanooga, TN he has a street named after him.His father lived on the other side of town.He is deceased now,but you need to get your facts straight. He wasnt born in this city but he went to jr.high here,he is very well known. He used to sing in a band with my husband's cousin before he made it BIG.His mom took him to ATLANTA and thats how he got his BREAK!!!!

I am sure Mrs. Patton did not get where she is today by allowing simpletons like many of you to adversely influence her moves and moods. She is an inspiration to me as a single mom struggling to "be there" for my children, especially my teenage son who is working hard to live his destiny in this selectively hostile society. She may be on point, and she may not be, who knows. Parents just do their best out of unconditional love. But there's one thing that I am ceratin of - it's none of our business.

I love Usher and I greatly respect and admire his mother. The love they have for each other will see them through whatever. People should really mind their own business, leave all negative comments unspoken , and spend their time focusing on their own perfect lives.

I feel if a mother tell you something she is usually right remember you only have one mother and you can never get another one so be good to her do not let other people and situations change how you feel about her because in the long run what ever advice she gave you will come back and you and her will be sitting there talking about what happen

You're a beautiful mother indeed! and If you don't approve of this wedding...Then it shouldn't happen.. You raised a great man with a wonderful career, don't let a female with no good intensions, and only wanting his last name for more publictiy then after she gets what she wants she'll shove Usher to the side..
Don't let it nothing come between your realtionshp with your son... Love is blind, and he might not realize it til the end... Stop That Wedding!
