For anyone who wants to know...yes...that blonde streak is NATURAL. He's had it since I've known him and that's for over 10 years now...since my freshman year in high school.

When we were seniors in Highschool he got a 12 year old pregnant. That is who he had his son Nathan by. What a great idol.

She wasn't 12 she was 14. I knew both of them. Still, thats a legal adult taking advantage of a minor child. Its called Statutory rape. He should be in jail.

Amy: There are plenty of upstanding citizens who haven't committed violatins like him who would be better role models for kids. Having a baby at 18 with a 14 year old is not someone kids should look up to (especially all the 14 year olds).

Get over it. He has talent and you don't. Stop trying to nitpick at someone that is going somewhere. The kids parents are proud of the kid and would never press charges. It was an accident. Kids should understand that it's okay to make mistakes and people will forgive them. No one is perfect.

How do you know I don't have any talent? Someone that is going somewhere? Until now he was a 28 year old waiter. Way to provide for your kid, there buddy! If he really wanted to "do this all for his kid" he would have gotten a good steady job to provide for him. No, he is just greedy trying to make a name for himself.
How was it an accident? Did he accidentally trip and fall into the legal minor and impregnante her? I don't see how something that like is an accident.

I can't believe this Amy chick is defending this guy and calling people who call him out "talentless." I certainly don't want someone like him to be an American Idol. It should not be okay to send the message that "Hey, you can impregnate a minor while you are an adult and still become a famous Hollywood star."
Him and people like this Amy chick (probably his mom or the current 14 year old he is dating) are disgusting.

His son is well loved and well provided for - there were no charges filed and he is a well adjusted awesome kid! I think the mere fact that he stepped up to the plate and TOOK RESPONSIBILTY for his child is pretty amazing.

People that break the law and take responsibility for their actions still have to pay consequences. For instance, if someone kills another person but confesses to it, they still have to go to jail.
Maybe, this news will prevent him from becoming an American Idol, and that would be just, in my opinion.
Just because you take responsbility for doing something bad does not make you a hero. A true hero is someone who knows better than to do it in the first place.

I laughed when Simon compared him to a cruise ship or lounge performer. I've been on two cruises, and both of them had better singers than him.

Uhm, ronron, millions of americans are not committing statutory rape. That is a crime in this country.
If an adult takes advantage of a minor (even if it is consensual), then it is technically a crime. Thats because minors are not legally bound to making these types of decisions and it is there to protect them from predators.

Well I am sure you aren't perfect either, nor am I. I am not saying he didn't do wrong because he did. But people move on and so should we. I just hate seeing these sort of comments made about a friend.. and I am sure if he was your friend you would hate it too.

Jason's a great guy.
Indeed he got a teenager pregnant but that was then. People should know that the girl who is his son's mom is in good terms with Jason. I know this because I am a relative of the Yeager family.

Yea, I contacted the site and asked them to remove this discussion because it started out as gossip which is fine, but it turned nasty, and its not benefitting anyone.
So why don't you guys use the Contact Us button and ask them to remove the discussions about Jason Yeager's pictures and hopefully they will do that.
From now on we can stick to gossip like "oh he sang bad" or "wow that was great last night"
