Unfortunately, there are girls much younger than Jamie that are getting pregnant everyday. She made a personal decision and is now paying the consequences, but that does not make her a bad person. Yes, she is a role model to many young girls, and it is unfortunate that she made this mistake, but it is important to realize that she is human. She did not plan for this to happen, but sometimes we don't always make the best decisions. It is okay that we mess up. I promise, we all mess up one way or another. No reason to judge Jamie because she's a celebrity. She is human like you and me. But learn from her situation.

Alright people, first of all, use a dictionary. PREGNANT. ABORTION. BRITNEY. INFLUENCE. DIVORCE. Come on, people, you're teenagers! You should be able to type simple words.
Secondly, 16 is not too young to have a baby. I believe in China there was once a report of a ten year old giving birth. Yes, a ten year old, people. Now that is too young.
Next, abortion is murder. Got that? MURDER. The whole abortion debate hinges on one issue. Is a fetus really part of the woman's body, so she can do what she chooses with it? Or is the fetus a seperate, distinct human being?
Every human being throughout history has had a unique individual genetic code stamped on every cell of their body. Both the mother and the fetus she carries have a genetic code stamped on all of their genes and chromosones. Are they the same? No! The fetus's genetic code is different from the mother's.To say a woman can do whatever she wants with the fetus may be true. But it is not true that the fetus is part of the mother's body.
In the Bible, Psalm 139 teaches, even in his mother's womb, David was David, a unique person being shaped by God for a specific role in God's plan. Do you really want to stand in the way of that?
And finally, she is a person too. Yes I know, she is a celebrity. Big deal. She is a person too, made by God and he loves her. Perhaps she is pregnant, perhaps she is not. But it's really none of your business; how would you like it if you have a pregnancy scare (or if you were actually pregant) and everyone with connection to the interent found out. I'm sure she may have made a mistake, and everyone does that.
And, yes, Britney has made a fool of herself, but I'm sure Jamie Lynn can turn this around to make herself a better person. And if she does have a baby, I'm sure she will be a wonderful mother.
Jamie Lynn, if you are reading this, please know that there are people out here in this cold world who care for you.

she said she was pregnant. it's in an interview, so yeah, she actually is. but it's not that bad of a thing...soo many people get pregnant at young ages. just because britney didn't turn out great (and she still isn't bad, the paparattzi just catches her off gaurd) doesn't mean she won't.

I don't think she's pregnant. I think it's just a rumor, like that rumor that Miley Cyrus was pregnant, which she's not. Why does somebody make up stupid rumors with certain celebs? Who's next on the rumor mill? Lindsay Lohan pregnant? Hilary Duff? Lindsay's sister, Aliana? Dakota Fanning? I mean...this is all so crazy. Jamie Spears is not pregnant. It's all just a rumor.

she is pregnant she released a statement saying she is 12 weeks and she is goign to keep the baby....it is going to be on the cover of ok weekly i believe next week but im not sure......now wit that being said.....she is a normal teen...i became sexually active at 17(and i was a senior, had a car and a job)...atleast she has a way to support this child...now i am not for it but it has happened...babies are blessings!!! anyways she will prob end up like her sisters crazy ass....lol i hope not!!! ~~u can take the trash out the trailor but u cant take the trailor out the trash~~ them spears are very trailor trashy living in mansions...prime example of you cant read a book by its (expensive) cover :)

You probablly wont believe this, but like ic are what you idiots think, I go to her high school. I'm going around looking at all these net sites where people think shes not, im standing up for her, like Sarah and Casey because they feel bad. Shes doing allright, but her mom is pretty upset. She hasn't been in for a while and i know Casey. They did have sex and she is pregant. Shes been excused from classes to talk with the counceller. Shes one of my friends,so back off fuckers.

Wow, 16 years old and having a baby! I don't know if it has to do with the role model, Brittany Spears, or other family issues. I'm not her friend or know her personally, but at the age of 16 she must be going through more than she can handle. I wish she makes the best decision that is best for her. I will keep her in my prayers, because I do not wish this on anyone. I got pregnant at the age of 17 and had an abortion. That was one of the worse decisions I ever made. I hope she protects herself from now on. Look on the brighter side of it, at least she didn't get HIV.

All of you who must live in some perfect world or never leave your house a girl can get pregnant a lot earlier than 16. I'm 15 and I definitly don't see my self getting pregnant in a year, but it happens everyday. There's girls in my age range all over getting pregnant and they dont getr near as much attention. Soo why do we make so much of a big deal about her. When little kids see these things on tv and in magazines they will have the same problems.
And to "I can't remember" there is no legal age in America, teens and others do it when they want too.
I didn't think she would be the one to get pregnant though, but she did. I thought more of Ashlee Simpson or Lindsay Lohan.
