To all you people saying 16 is too young to hav a baby : I live in New Zealand and 16 is the legal age to hav sex here... i was 16 wen i got pregnant with my son even though i was on the pill so contraception doesnt always work. My son is now 6 months old and the greatest thing to ever happen in my life. im glad i had him and i say good luck to jamie lynn.

Ok....she IS pregnant. you can check out the story in OK magazine. It was also announced on MSN.com. Oh well she's pregnant and a celebrity. he should have waited now her teen life is over in a way. I just hope that she'll be in the spotlight on a positive note such as being a better mother than her sister Britney. Jamie seems like a more responsible girl, yet i dont know the girl personally no does anyone here so who are we to judge. I just hope that she'll be a better mother than her sister.

Well, personally, i think that whatevers Jamie's pregnant or not it's her buisness. Okay I'm a freshman and i know atleast 10 people have had sex already; so.. its not just that un-common, its just a big deal because some people aren't celeberties. I wouldn't have sex that young; but it's her discion, so I think she should be able to do whatever.

If the media didn't promote this teen pregnancy, kids wouldn't have to choose to 'still look up to her. The entire show the View for the 20th was obsessed with this girl. The media loves smut (i.e. when unmarried people spread their legs, a teenager goes on a shooting rampage, or GB cuts wind). Talk shows, news channels, newspapers, are all part of the same green conglomerate. They do not do storys on upstanding citizens, because they have a handful more morals than JS.
