you talk about being ashamed of her because he not 'someone hot' and that she 'should've learned wen ur sister made a mistake' , well seriously people - you should be ashamed of urselves for judging people you dont even know.
i really dont get what all the big fuss is - so what if shes pregnant? stop calling her names, and taking the piss out of them. mistakes happen, and unfortunately no matter how careful you are - something can always go wrong. so stop judging them, and giving them the rightous act when uv probably done some stupid things or made mistakes in your life too.
im not sure i would have the guts to go through with it, so people should be proud of her for being honest and hopefully she'll be a good mum.

How about not worrying about "mistakes" happening and NOT haveing sex at the age of 16. This is horrible. So many girls in hollywood are pregnant and not married, and now a minor!

We all thought Jamie Lynn was normal and sane, and now we find out the truth...
I just don't understand how she could have repeated her sister's mistakes, knowing very well what they led to. She and her boyfriend should be ashamed for being so ignorant and negligent.
Her reputation is ruined forever.
I hope that she at least does a good job at raising this poor baby; otherwise, hand him/her over to Jamie's parents! The child shouldn't suffer.

This is very illegal. "Normal" citizens get charged with rape when their boyfriend/girlfriend is under 18 and they are over.
Of course hardly anyone in Hollywood ackowledges the fact that Jamie Lynn is 16 and the boyfriend is 19. Pathetic. At least be fair, is what I'm saying.

When I heard about this on CNN, i was shocked. Never expected this from Jamie, simply because all we hear about is Britney.
I dont agree with having a child that young and out of wedlock, but I do hope that she has a healthy baby. With all the money that family has, that kid is set, but hopefully it is loved to the fullest extent. It could have been prevented, but mistakes happen, its unfortunate. Oh well, we dont even know the girl, but best of luck....

people we can not be so harsh on her ......... she is keeping her baby i mean they are a lot of girls with the same problem and they decide to get an abortion..........she was not responsable because she dindt take a birth control or use a condom but shes making it up with keeping her baby. anyways i wish her luck......................... remember we are not who to critice.

in louisiana anybody who is 18 and has sexual relations with someone younger is liable for rape but i guess cause shes a celebrity they will just let him go, but that wouldnt be good for the baby or cassy
