Garrett - I was completely stunned that you were let go in week 1. You sang the song perfectly and were so much better than many others. You have tremendous talent, a wonderful voice, and to top it off, were so completely gracious and upbeat during the show. I really admire your attitude and talent, and thought you were in it for the long haul - your talent is miles beyond those who are still in the show. Don't give up -- keep your dreams in sight -- you have what it takes!!

Garrett, hold your head up high dude because you carried yourself like a real man. I've said before that Idol should not vote someone off the first week but they should wait until week 2 so we can at least hear everyone sing twice. You are a cool soul and you deserve happiness and success. :)
