I think the world should really relax about sex a bit more. I mean really what have any of the people done to hurt any member of the public ??Its sex and that is what all of our natural bodies look like , and everybody knows it. No big secret. No big scandal.
Would people please just grow up, and grow out of the stone age.Everybody has sex .These pictures were not meant for the world to see whatsoever. Why on earth should peolple loose their job over having sex ? People do it everyday, and that is how our planet has become so overpopulated in the first place!
More so though, Im not convinced ,at all, that the woman were willing participants,whatsoever.
There are thousands of explicit pictures and videos on the net ,done by powertrip people, done by sick rapists , done by perverts and done by some crazy normal population who dont have any shame, or who just want to keep it for themselves.
The point is they havent hurt anybody of the public in any way , its between them and them only , and why is sex made out to be such a dirty thing??And why is sex always blown way out of proportion like that?? I hope those people pointing fingers will stop having sex right now, and stop increasing the population right now. We dont need more people on this earth, especially not the narrowminded and judgemental type of gene.

Its so unnecessary for these peoples lives to be ruined !!Its sooo unnecessary for all their lifes hard work to have been wasted in one single second.What a waste of life and talent.Im sure many of them are suicidal -and at the end all thanks to a very judgemental and indoctrinated society.
I am utterly disgusted by peoples narrowminded attitude and indoctrination. I really think religion and indoctrination should be banned. Start thinking for yourselves poeple. This is why we have a brain , so that we dont have to follow indoctrination and just REALLY think for yourselves!!

Personally I don't feel there is anything wrong with edison chen taking the pictures. He wasn't at fault, many other people also take these kind of pictures. It is just the so called moral values of others that make them critisise him. The most hateful person would be freak who posted the pictures online and those people who push the blame onto others when they get into trouble.

I agree with most of the comments. The society still hid the notion of sex away from children. Why would they? There are many reasons which parents fear their children might do that lead to serious consequences. Children ,who admires Edison Chen, might follow his pathway. After children saw the pictures, there is a high chances that they searched for porn. The public do not care about his sex life if he kept it a secret. Considering he is a popular idol or former idol now, he should be held responsible. I disagree with the statement that it did not harm anybody. Did you see youtube? There were a group of students, probably under age, looking at the picture. There might be a chance that they would commit underage sex, and girls, who worship Gillian, might have sex. Edison did not use a condom! Worst of all! If he used a condom, then there is mutual benefits. HIV/AIDS! I believe people deserve a second chance. Wish him luck! I was amazed when he said he was reading literature.
