Luv - I have to disagree with you about RTWM. This film, although its not great, was not a flop. It has made $94m worldwide. If the budget for it was around $70m its still made a profit, not huge, but a profit all the same. I do think that DJ has lost a lot of fans over this whoren affair but I dont think its impacted as much on his career as I thought it would but saying that, this was a family movie. It will be interesting to see how he fairs once he does a non kiddies movie. I think that will be the proof of the pudding.
I also saw the pictures of him and his ex wife at the Tribeca Film Festival promoting their movie. This is just PR for them as they're both Executive Producers on it. They're just putting their public faces on. I dont think there is anything more to it than that (unfortunately).

I don't think whoren has effected his career. some of his fans are p*ssed but the people who hire him don't care about the gossip. However if he brings her out (officially) as his girlfriend he is asking for trouble. Because all the mainstream media will start to research the relationship. THEN he will have to answer all those nasty where, when, who long, have you been "dating" questions. He won't do it because it's too late to introduce her as anything but his cheap affair and there's too much gossip surrounding her. Whether it's true or not doesn't matter anymore. He'll keep her in the back until he finds someone serious. Someone untainted and new that he can take to premieres. Then she'll sell her story to get back at him LOL!!

Exactly, RTWM was not so much of a flop but I think Tumbletots does make a good point about how fans will take to DJ finally doing an adult movie (and no before anyone says it I dont mean a porno), particularly an action movie. I do think that people will go and see it and some will go and see it just out of curiosity. To be honest I think I would watch it just out of curiosity. After all these kiddies movies people are still going to question whether he can pull in the money and have a hit adult movie 'a la Vin Diesel'.
He's running scared with that piece of Trash he's with now. Unless he dumps her people will continue to be on his case and he knows it. I just hope he can find someone who isn't a whore!

So true to the last poster. Dwayne lied to his fans because he was cheating and wanted to hide it.
And the movie Race to Witch mountain was very much too a flop. It cost a ton of money to make and it hasn't even made a hundred million yet. It's almost ready to hit stores on DVD. I don't know if you are aware but it was a big deal for Disney to revitalize that franchise. It was a huge failure for them. I don't think Disney will trust Dwayne with another such important flick. They might just give him something dumb to be in to finish out his contract because him doing family movies isn't panning out too well for him as he once thought it would.

Rumor all over is that he and Dany are maybe getting back together but its just a rumor. Everybody is all rooting for them getting back together from what people are blogging. I think it would be great if they got back together. But they're over. People like them don't get divorced on a whim. It's usually after many years of trying to work it out and then finally saying we should divorce.I guess the statement they released is true 'We look forward to spending the rest of our lives together as best friends and business partners.' You have to have a lot of respect for each other to do that.

What do you think they are going to say? He cheated on me and he's with a girl half my age. He's gonna live on the west coast and I'm gonna raise our daughter on the east coast. LMFAO yall are STILL BLOGGING? Geez...Lauren is Dwayne's personal assistant. Dwayne let her use attention of being seen with him to promote her music career. But it didn't work. Poor Lauren. Dwayne tried to be nice to her. As for the Tribeca Film Festival, I just looked at the albums. Him and Dany look like they get along really well! I think he loves and respects her. I think that even in marriage, they were more like friends and decided to be divorced so that they can both test the waters. Sometimes people grow apart. It doesnt seem like Dany despises Dwayne, and it doesn't seem like Dwayne would have any other woman beside him except for Dany. I hope he and Dany get back together...
