It is funny that US Magazine has removed this artice… it is even funnier that in the interview it was talked about how David Archuleta is gay and involved in a gay relationship with Phillip Daggett. Good thing I seen the article and also good thing that even though it is removed you can see Jeff Archuleta's response to the question about David being involved with Phillip Daggett. He said that he does not understand how his son being gay has anything to do with the talent that he has. To quote Jeff Archuleta he has said "Honestly does him being gay take away anything from his great voice or his personality?" and if you follow this link you can see this for yourself, but when you go to click on the link to see the story, all of a sudden it will not let you see it… what the hell kind of coverup is this? SHAME ON YOU FOX AND SHAME ON AMERICAN IDOL!!! PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW!!!

I find it telling that the most toxic and obnoxious people trying to slander David A. seem to be gone now. Why? Maybe because he didn't win American Idol and they can't try to throw votes any more.

From the first time we saw you on American Idol, my family new you were the one.
There are so many wonderful qualities about you David. Of course you can sing with a pure yet powerful voice and can and will always be able to give America a Powerful message with the songs you choose.

I got onto this website because it was something about David A. I had no idea that there was actually people who were wasting their time writing about a young man they know nothing about. So, this radio DJ interviewed Cook sometime after he won AI, and was set on asking some personal questions. While he wasn't allowed to ask most of them, as he explained after the interview, he did get away with one - surprisingly, I might add. You can listen to the interview HERE, but it's pretty long and hard to find the small segment I'm referring to, so I typed up a rough transcript here to make things easier.

David Archuleta is not gay, he is not saying anything about him not being gay despite of all the rumors because nobody really asked him straight questions about it. You know David, he is a very nice and respectful person and he is that kind of a person who doesn't like to deal with dramas, he said that himself. So I believe if someone really interview him and ask him about that, I believe he will say he is not coz he is NOT. So please stop accusing this nice kid and please stop connecting his name to this Philip whoever daggett. This philip guy just clearly wants to have a piece of Archuleta's growing fame. Be ashamed of yourself Philip whether you are a real person or just a made-up character created by bad media or some lousy individuals who don't have the heart.

I used to be ignorant like everybody else and judge gayness based on hobbies and interests. I'd always wonder if the drama guys and chorus guys were gay. Some were, some weren't. It's especially hard to tell when you're dealing with a unusually innocent 17 year old like DA. It's hard to believe that wholesome kids still exist but it makes me happy. Even if he's gay, he's very wholesome and appears to be religious. It really didn't cross my mind that Archie would be gay. DC was rude to discuss Archie's personal life PERIOD! But to engage in speculation like that was HORRENDOUS. David Archuleta isn't calling himself gay so it must be the truth. Or at least the only truth we have. DC obviously didn't want to bash gay people or OUT Archuleta without knowing anything but I think he should have just said simply that it's not true and it's really none of anyone's business. Because I don't believe for one second that Archuleta is calling himself gay. Maybe he is gay but he doesn't look like someone that would be ready to deal with it publicly right now. DC is a j/o.
