Come on, people! Does it really matter whether he is straight or gay? The kid is a young 17 years old and DOESN'T need the pressure. I teach kids of that age, so believe me, I know.
If you want to continue to see and hear great things from this rare, exceptionally talented performer, then LEAVE HIM ALONE. Be fans of him by respecting him for being the good musician he is on stage, not for what other things go through your fantasy-driven brains.

David is an absolutely beautiful singer. Straight or Gay, it doesn't define the person he will become. This boy has a lot going for him, and I look forward to seeing him grow and excel in the music industry. His voice is phenomenal. When I first heard him audition, I thought he was a great singer, but was not sure what more he had. Like so many that come up there, one is good, but the rest are horrible. I've consistantly seen nothing but pure harmony in his voice. He's a wonderful talent, a great find and a wonderful person. Good Luck David, you are a god send.
