But David Cook was good too.. and he always was.
I think going down to consistency David Cook has the prize in the bag, hands down. David Archuleta finally gave 3 solid performances in a row.. was it because he's in the finale? Because he didn't show that kind of singing talent before, that's for sure.
According to DialIdol.com David Cook won, I believe that is right. Lol, so let's see tonight if American Idol is really rigged.

Truth is
was arrested by police late Tuesday after the airing of American Idol. The suspect's name has not been revealed pending further investigation. It is believed that the suspect was working in conjunction with another individual who has yet to be identified.
A search warrant of the suspect's residence revealed volumes of photographs of David Archuletta as well as over 1500 pictures depicting child pornography.
The suspect was captured after posting blogs on various websites claiming that David Archuleta was gay. The suspect admitted to police that he created a fake identify "Phillip Daggert" in hopes of convincing the public that David Archuleta was "gay".
As it turns out, police tracked the suspect for three weeks prior to the final performance and followed the suspect to Murray Utah where the suspect watched a performance of David Archuletta at a strip mall. The suspect was seen at the final performance trying to enter a back stage area claiming to be a reporter.
The suspect is currently under arrest facing stalking and other related charges.

Just for the record, I think David A. is great, a few of his performances made me tear up, which is a huge feat. He is soo adorable too!! So, the way I found this site was by doing a search on google "David Archuleta Gay" cuz I had my suspicions. Maybe cuz I am gay and think he is adorable or maybe cuz my gaydar is going off. Cuz, in actuality I hope he is not gay!!!! I want nothing but good things for him and I'd hate to hear terrible news about him or anything he may do. As for the Phillip Daggett rumor, I think it is completely ridiculous. If David Archuleta IS gay, there is no chance in hell he would be with him. That dude Phillip is ugggelyyy!!!! He is no where near the type of guy that David A could get. Also, not only is he real but I dont think that he is ugly at all... You are truly the winner in my heart and millions of others. I followed you from the beginning. I was the 11th post on this blog and predicted that you would make it to the top three. And you came so close to winning this whole thing.
I am Canadian so I couldn't vote. That sucked! Maybe if you had the Canadian vote you would have won. Because you have millions of fans up here as well.
Your singing brought me to tears many times. David Cooke never did. He is talented but is no where near as good as you when it comes to vocal range. I like rock... but like I said before... he is just another rocker. You my friend sing from your heart. And it transends to everybody.
I am so sorry this blog turned out the way it did... I did everything I could to mend things here. It just scares the hell out of me that there are people out there in this world that do this sort of thing. But there are many people like me that see through it all and see the kind and wonderful person you are.
We have the winter olympics happening in 2010. Canadians would be honored to have you sing here for that. They say that Canadians are nice people... and we are... Utah comes as close as it comes to being Canadian.
I live on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo BC. Where the famous Nanaimo Bars were created. They are known world wide. I will be at the Olympics... I hope to see you there singing your heart out.
By the way... Andrew Loyd Webber is wrong... I love it when you close your eyes when you sing. Keep doing it... it is you and it is real. Just be you. Don't change!

If I may...All of you people believing the rumors about david, need to see who the real Dagget person is.....he manipulates people and the news for his own benefit....and this time he has chosen David. And if you look into all of the allegations closer....you will discover that this Phillip Daggett person is only someone who will do anything to attach his name to the coat-tails of rising stars...He created the rumors himself to increase his visibility on you tube...check it out, he just started a new u-tube and is counting on people to view all of his sorry stuff. He thinks he is talented, but in reality he is self centered, stuck on himself and he thinks he is better. It wouldn't surprise me if he was booted from the preliminary auditions on Idol.
The rumors are false and only generated by Daggett.
David Archuleta is very talented & does not deserve the extra burden this has all placed on him, his family and most likely the producers of Idol. He is a winner either way and his talent will take him on a long journey which will be rewarding for himself and all who believe in him.
We can all be proud of David Archuleta........Shame on you ...Phillip Daggett for attaching your character (which includes fraud) to such a promising individual.

I am 19 years old so I feel that I am close enough to Archie's age to make these comments.
If I was him I know I would be online looking at these stories about me and alleged rumors. And I know how upsetting it would be to me.
Do I think he's gay? Yea, I would be a good chunk of change on it but who really cares? And for the people calling him a liar, are you serious? He is a singer and is competing for votes based on his singing. Why should he have to come out based on some stupid rumors? If you are calling him a liar, with all due respect, you are a moron.
There are a lot of gay men on these forums and I have to reach out to them right now. At 16, 17 years old were you completely sure about your sexuality? Can't it be possible that he isn't sure? Again, I think he is but he may not yet.
I wish I could talk to David, and if I could I would say this:
