Yeah, I should of posted are little Barbaque earlier for possible interested people on here. Sorry, about that. It turned out really fun. We had like 65 people. Tons of music going on. LOTS of food. All kinds!! There was like 25 people here that can play and sing something. This one lady could play the violin, AWESOME. It really sounded good. We had this one kid he is 16, he could play the harmonica so good, he sing a little. His singing needed a little work, but he had fun we all did. Can't forget amount 13 yr.old Anthony, oh my gosh this kid could play the guitar good, I was like WHAT in the WORLD he was good. His dad is a guitar player for journey right now. That why he so good I bet. So much laughing.

Thats how Hollywood works. For real! They all are so talented it isn't even funny. If you play live you develope fan bases anywhere and place. Just so happen American Idol is HUGE.
Little David Archuleta is only 17 my gosh. Can't wait in a 2 or 3 years see how his voice as matured more. Love the young brother. IN A BROTHERLY here. Had to put that brotherly way, so the sickos on here won't get any idea's.
You meet the right people in Hollywood get discovered. Its all who you know. If they like you they like and will take care of you. Been around that. Well, it's definitely a popularity contest NOW. But when it starts no one knows the contestants yet and haven't fixed yet who they like so it STARTS as a talent contest.
But after this many weeks, people become emotionally invested in their favorites and it doesn't matter anymore what the contestants do - they're still going to vote for their favorites. It would take a REALLY huge stumble at this point to change the outcome. And we're talking really pssing off your fanbase somehow. Something that I don't even think CAN be done accidentally.
That's why my predictions from here on in are based solely on their current fanbase because those people aren't going to change their minds after months of backing their "horse". I enjoy watching the singing, but you do have to realize that it's all about the base now, not at all about the talent anymore. BUT you have to have had the talent to begin with to get that base.

Carly should not have gone home this week, let alone be in the bottom 2. After learning that both Syesha and Carly, who were awesome on Tuesday, were in the bottom 2 I became very upset. After the events that transpired on Wednesday, it is clear to me that American Idol is no longer a talent competition but is instead a glorified popularity contest. Based solely on Tuesdays performances I felt that Brooke and Jason should have been in the bottom 2, with Brooke going home. But instead, America decided to throw out the talent factor and put two of the best singers in the bottom 2, sending the better of the 2 home. After watching that show on Wednesday, I've decided that I'm done watching American Idol, simply because it seems to me that talent doesn't matter anymore. That being said, I think the remaining top 5 are all talented in their own way. I also want to wish Carly the best of luck with the rest of her career, she deserved way better than 6th place.

Well said The Light. I pretty much have to agree with all your points. I do see a bit of cameraderie building between the Davids - and that's a good thing. Kinda like Big Brother, Little Brother it seems like. I do like DC better every week.
I really have no idea where Brooke's fan base is coming from. I said from the start that I like her too - but WTH is she doing still on the show?
The great thing is that at this point it really doesn't matter much who goes out anymore. They've all gotten great publicity and Carly will not lack for work as a singer. But really, I can't see Brooke ever making a living at this.

Once again the truth is hidden and covered up, I don't believe you truly know David Blue Dragon because if you did then you would know that he is gay and that these rumors are true. You can attempt to direct the attention elsewhere and it is so easy to do so, but people know the truth and that is all that matters. American Idol is really getting boring. I just don't see it last to much long. They really need to spice the show up. Becuming very perdictable. Same thing every week almost. There is better talent out there.

Was it too much? Aaaa, probably was. But I would like to say something on that front more to Katie in particular.
When I see a wrong being done to someone who is genuinely good and talented - like this false rumor started and perpetuated by a lowlife, I don't consider it mature to ignore it. David isn't here to defend himself. All we get here is these deviant, made-up fantasies by some nobody wannabe and I am getting tired of them. If your conception of maturity is to allow them to continue to spread without check then I'm immature as they come.
But I do agree that to continue beyond what I've already pointed out is fruitless and I'll try to hold my tongue in check in the future. Google is probably the best weapon against such gossip and it can reveal much more than I can to anyone who cares to investigate. I know the real story now that I've done so and anyone else can do the same. Doesn't take much.
