I dont think it is right for you to call anyone a gold digger when he obviously has enough of his own money to go get a $30,000.00 plastic surgery job, it looks like he is only digging his own money for that.
I seen the pics too in the link the someone put above and yes you can tell it is Phillip, he weighed a lot more than he does now but it is him. He definitely looks A LOT better now than he did then, so good for him, whether he paid for it or not... but a gold digger? I doubt it.
People have nothing better to do but to assume what they do not know and make a story out of nothing just to have something to talk about. I am glad that you are all such big fans of David and Phillip because thanks to you all you are making them BOTH more famous than ever!!!

I know that these rumors about David Archuleta and Phillip Daggett are true. I am from a place where I have seen the both of them together, and I know one of them really well. I don't want to attack at either one of them which is why I am leaving a lot open.

I just looked at the video of "Love Me Tender" again.
In spite of the moving words of W.C.R. above -- no, I really didn't get that he was singing it to PD. Not at all.
David A. is a singer. He loves it. It is the air he breathes. As such, his energy, soul, heart, powers are fully immersed in the song.
THAT is what I saw in the video. He looked at the fans. He looked at the camera. His heart was definitely in the song, totally and completely.
Was it addressed to any one person. Hmmm. I don't think so at this point.
All I've seen of evidence on this column are claims that there *used* to be pics of PD on David A.'s website. What? There aren't computers with these pics saved on them?
I'm not convinced. Tissues and layers of speculation are all I have seen at this point.

By the way, many of the posts, e.g., LISA and Bobby, are maniacally directed at trying to derail David's chances of winning on American Idol.
I think that kind of attitude is just low. AI is a talent show, and if David has the talent, he should win. He is under no more obligation to sleep with all the girls or boys in the audience who are infatuated with him, than any other performer.
If he is the best singer, he should win. Period.

One reason I have been so angry at the people trashing on David A. on this site is that they have sounded so incredibly homophobic.
"Queen Bee" seems to delight in calling David "Phillip's bottom boy", apparently in an attempt to demean him.
"Unknown" above admits to being a "hater" and mockingly laughs at the thought of David singing to his boyfriend.
And quite a while back in this column, there was some person posting who apparently was bitterly jealous that David "forgot that I existed" and (apparently) went after PD instead.
I just see so much that is vile and unworthy in this column; it angers and disheartens me.

Everyone acts like David entered AI with the plan of deceiving young girl fans and hiding who he is as a person. He entered AI to sing. But then it turned out that he is better and more popular than he could have imagined. And of all things... the GIRLS LOVE HIM.
If he is gay (big deal), then that would actually help explain how truly surprised and unaffected he appears to be when the girls are screaming at him. He actually does seem incredulous to their adoration.

I agree, it is wrong. However I also agree that it is wrong to mislead people by deceptively creating an image for yourself to build a fan base that is created on false impressions. People have a right to know the truth, and when it is being hidden like it is right now it only appears to be a cover-up.
Either way first chance the paparazzi gets they are going to attack the both of them with this issue. I doubt very much that we will know the truth for a while, if not ever.
I have been voting for archy all along and will continue to no matter what just because I think he has a great voice and that is what the show is all about, but when it comes to this, I would like to know the truth about someone's life before I invest any of my time or money into this person or allow his fans to invest their time or money into him now knowing the truth about his life.
