BIG NEWS: Ok so all of you have listened to me for weeks and I am not the type of person to say I am wrong unless I check it out . Many of you have probably heard just as I have the shocking news that the person "Phillip" doesn't actually exist. They traced the IP addresses of "Phillip" back to a friend of an Idol competitor (name not to be mentioned a this time). This was done in an attempt to reduce David Archuletta's chance of winning.
Over the years in my reporting at my magazine, I have had bad information come and go. Usually it is easy to detect. Here this person actually set up a fake Myspace account and make up a bunch of stories to throw us off.
Well he got me. But in the end the truth came out. While I truely still believe that David is probably gay, and his dad is a control freak, I am humbled by the fact that all of my entries were false. This is not based upon soemthing that I did, but based upon what others had reported to me.
