(I know it is not his dog, ha ha, but it is like anything he touches probably turns gay.)
For the record, I am not in love with him, but I think he will win American Idol, unless he loses his voice. For all you little girls who are in love with him, get real and find a gay Mormon in your own school to love.

I have been having trouble connecting the "Star Search" David with the David we've seen on American Idol. In the past, on Star Search, he seemed to be very dramatic and a real showman. Is that what you meant by "performed like he has around here?" Not only does he seem more shy off stage, but his singing style has changed dramatically. He is so much more subdued now. Just maturity? I like his style much better now.

Hey Everyone! just checking out the comments how sweet of all of you. And no, I am not gay, but I have several friends. I may even sing "Its Raining Men" just to confuse all of the people that think I am gay. Sorry Robbie, I don't think that is going to happen. I have already had my only M-M experience and not my thing.

Nice to see David is taking all this in stride. An indication of his maturity and strength? I think so! Keep that gift of yours going David. We are all rootin for ya. You have Canada's vote... and maybe you will even be able to sing with Avryl Lavine as a duet at our 2010 winter Olympics in Vancouver. We would love to have you!
Although... the hurdles are not done yet.
I will have a clearer vision after the March 12th singoff.
Hint: Choose something upbeat and a little out of your style but well within your comfort zone. You may risk the judges being a little tougher on you... but ignore it cause I think they have to be that way since they know you may take this thing to the end and win it.
It's all about ratings man. Remember that! Don't let it fog you.

You are obviously a fine, talented, genuine, down-to-earth, charming young man; and I'm sure every mom would love to have their daughter meet you. Ok well I am going on stage tonight- kinda nervous- but I will have fun. I am not sure why everyone has to claim that I am gay. Not that it matters because I am comfortable with myself and have gay friends. Why is that a bad thing. If i was gay, I would just say so, I don't find it something to be ashamed of. Sorry guys, I am single and straight and don't think that will be changing just because I sing. Thank you everyone for the wonderful support!

ok your really lame and suffer a sad condition if u need to pretend to be david. the show was on at 8:00 and u wrote that at 8:23. and hes not gunna announce his sexuality on a stupid gossip site, fools@!! lol but he needs the votes after his performance tonight it wasnt his best, so vote!!

OUCH!
That was soooo painful to watch! I love David's talent and really felt for him as he blanked on the words. It affected his whole performance. Hard to recover :(
I did watch it back against my better judgement - hoping that it wasn't really as bad as it seemed the first time around...but...
I'll be voting double for him tonight! As I said, I really do love his talent. Gotta go now---I need another dose of "IMAGINE" right now to bring me back!!!

How is it, that David could write something on here at 8:23 when the show went live at 8:00? Who knows, maybe they let them use computers during the show, but I seriously doubt that. And I've been a vocal supporter of David on here and I'll be the first to admit that tonight was not his best performance.

Not only did the show start live at 8, but I just watched the very beginning again, and it showed all of them, including David, walking onto the stage at 8:04.

The show was taped "live" but not "aired live" it was taped at 2pm for those that have no clue about show business - duh. they need time to edit it and send it to the various tv stations- u guys are so dumb
