maybe you do not care, but obviously other people do care. anyhow I think that they just need to come out with the damn truth already! and I would not be too sure about the recording deals, because it sounds to me that there are professionally recorded songs on his myspace, http://www.myspace.com/pd1202tp so who knows, but I still love David Archuleta and will support him no matter what, I just wanna know the truth already!

somehow I think all this being gay/relationship with Phillip, rumor or not, has caused him winning AI.
but he does not need a title to have a successful singing career --> look at Season 2 AI winner and runner up, it's obvious who is more successful.

Yes, if the PD story ever proved to be correct, he has a lot to be accountable for, taking advantage of an impressionable 16 year old. That would be the kiss of death on him.
Personally I still think DA shows every sign of being pretty inexperienced in matters sexual. And I find it very difficult to imagine that father of his leaving him unchaperoned so that he was alone with a much older man.
But gossip doesn't at all affect my opinion of David and his talent. David A's voice is beautiful -- and reflects and embodies the awesomeness of his heart. DA has begun a well-earned rise to stardom.
