I don't see what everyone's problem is with Danny being gay. Ohh he shouldn't be on American Idol because he's gay. Who ever said that the American Idol had to be straight? I don't think that was ever saw. I think most people need to get their head out of their asses. Danny's an awesome singer & I think he deserved to be in the Top 12 on American Idol.

Hey Tom: The Bible isn't an opinion, it's a history book. Homosexuality is unacceptable. When it all boils down to it, we go by God's rules, whether we like it or not. God loves every human being he created, and his son died for us to make our own choices. We don't always make the right ones, such as having a homosexual lifestyle, but sin is sin, whether is be homosexuality or stealing, it's all the same. The lack of desire doesn't make me ignorant Tom, but your ignoring the bible and considering it in the materialistic view as just a "book" shows your ideals as a uniformaterialist. The very same ideas as Darwin when he wrote "Origin of Species", and Lyell when he wrote "Principle of Geology". Tom, the present is not a key to our past as Lyell believed, but the past (the Bible) is definately a key to our present. I really do feel sorry for you, and I'm not trying to be mean. Gay people are still creatures of God, and God loves them no more or no less than any other. Don't hate God Tom, all he did was create you. Don't be nasty with others for bringing that to your attention. The bible is historical fact Tom. Period. No discussion is warranted. Do I think homosexuality is just about sex? Tom, I've read more on the subject of homosexuality and religion more than you could think of. I've written case study after case study. I completely believe that two people of the same sex can love one another. I really do. I don't think love is just about sex. I do beleive that people of the same sex loving one another sexually is wrong. Don't hate me for that, no more than I don't hate you for your beliefs. Live your life Tom. We all have to travel the same road and answer for the same things at the end of it. The kid on American Idol was getting slammed even by gay men! He is exactly what gay men cringe at.
