Clay and Jaymes have been together longer than most Hollywood marriages last, they will be great parents. Parker is a blessing and doesn't need the sleazeoids making snide comments. My congrats to the happy family.

I came to this site for one reason only. To see pictures of Clay, Jaymes and their precious baby Parker. Unfortunately the slugs who work for gossip mags can't resist snide comments. This will be my last visit to this site.

What's so "strang" about a baby being born via in-vitro fertililzation? It is an accepted medical technique used for couples with fertility problems. Many celebrity couples have used this technique, and none of them were described as "strange".
IVF is NOT the same thing as "artificial inseminaiton", so you need to get your facts straight.
You are the strange ones, you go out of your way to insult happy and decent people upon the birth of their beloved son.

Nothing strange about two wonderful people who totally love & respect each other deciding to begin a family together.For years now it has been apparent that there has been more than a professional relationship between Clay & Jaymes. So glad that they have been blessed with the greatest gift of all...a precious baby. Welcome ,Parker Foster Aiken. Those that do not know them should resist saying anything at all since it makes you appear foolish and snide.

After his travels for UNICEF to some of the neediest parts of the world, I'm sure his heart can use the big dose of joy brought by seeing his little one learn and grow.

Good for Clay and Jaymes. Nothing strange about wanting a baby to cement your relationship. It's done all the time in case you didn't know. Stop putting nasty tags on your pictures.

Mary, thank you for your comment. I love hearing from people who actually KNOW Clay, even more than his fans do. Knowing the real guy from before Idol turned his life upside down and made him a target for all the overgrown bullies out there, I'll bet you just shake your head in disbelief at times at what "they say."
Gossip is wrong. It makes the whole world a dirtier place.

It's so good to see Clay so happy - and Jaymes looks wonderful, too. Trim & beautiful, she appears a good 10-15 years younger than her stated age. Two very good people who deserve the blessing of a beautiful, healthy child. They will be terrific parents. Anyone who has seen them together doesn't have to guess about the special bond between them - you can see it in the way they look at each other. Nothing any snide gossip site can say can take away an iota of their genuine joy in each other and in their divine new production!

I agree that it is as strange as it sounds. In my opinion Jaymes was no more then a surrogate and this is Clay's baby 100%, even though he never had sex to get him.

Clay and Jaymes had a child and will raise it together with love. Nothing else matters. If God didn't want this child in the world, he would not be here. Simple as that.
Am extremely happy for them and hopeful for this innocent child, that gossip sites respect his privacy as well at that of his parents. They all deserve better.

I don't really "know" Clay, only met him like 3-4 times when they dated. He is very nice. This was around 2005. I hope I didn't make it seem like I was friends with Clay and all. I knew him, and my cousin still talks to him from time to time. She says he and Jaymes are very much a couple and very happy. She knows nothing about how the baby came about (not her business as she says) just that Clay has always wanted to be a dad. Sorry if I made it seem like I knew more.

I see a very happy man. Congratulations to him and his dear friend Jaymes. I totally understand the importance of friendship in a relationship as my husband who I dearly love is also my very best friend. Mature people know that and they also know that you do not have to be married to deeply love someone.
In vitro or not doesn't matter here because there are no guarantees with in vitro. God himself has blessed them with this child. I wish them all the happiness and joy in the world. But I believe they already have that joy and happiness - each other and Parker.

Thanks for sharing...Im so happy for Clay and Jaymes!. I did have a question for you. You said your cousin said that Clay and Jaymes are a couple and happy. Not that I dong beleive you cause I do! But I have friends who say no..did she say how long Clay and Jaymes have been a couple. I know the press and stuff say no just feinds but Im not buying it. I dont believe Clay would want to have the child witihout having the specieal lady in his life.
I was just curious..Cause people want to beat me money they arent a couple but Im willing to beat money they are.
