My first time back on the ice after the news & loss of Christopher,
I"ll skate to the song called I can't cry hard enough.
My first time back on the ice will be a heart breaking one. As I touch the ice I'll be thinking of you Christopher

I met Chris Bowman twice; once in 1989 while at the training rink for the US Championships in Baltimre, Maryland; and another time at the Baltimore Arena where he was practicing for a show. Both times, she was so nice to me and my daughter and chatted with us about skating for quite a while. He was a great skater. I am so sad that his life is over and I will never see him skate again.

I think it's unprofessional and unresponsible to use a photo more than 3 years old from an article in the AP calling it a recent photo. If you wish to have a "recent" photo of Christopher Bowman .. than someone should contact me as his girlfriend of the past 6 years ... Did anyone think I might have one just a couple wweeks old???????????

Stop posing as his girlfriend, remember the restraining order against you, how he called you his sponsor, he loved someone else. Deal with it. You were not and never were his girlfriend and you need to stop. Be glad this photo was used and not one even less flattering. It's not about you.

Nicole Elsi ... WHATEVER!!!! I don't know what you think you know ,but you obviously have no clue or what you're talking about!!! A restraining order ???? For what???? I guess that's why we shared the same address and traveled together for the past 6 years!!! Get a clue ... if he was in love with someone else ... why would he have been with me and in our hotel room. He was free to come and go as he pleased!!!

I just found out today about Christopher. So so sad.He struggled with his demons for years, the skating world has lost a great talent, even though Christopher seemed lost for years.. I met Chistopher in the show circuit when I was still competing and just started out with Holiday on ice.. My very good friend from France let me know of the news he had competed with him and had the outmost respect for his talents, but aware even then of some dificult issues. RIP my regards to his close family and friends.. Bisous

He was a brilliant skater and great entertainer.
I always made sure I saw as many of his
live and TV appearances as possible. He will
be missed.

I am sad to hear of Christopher's passing. He was a brilliant, mercurial, and tortured soul. Perhaps Jesus will take his hand in the valley and lead him to the peace and contentment he could never find here on earth. Love to his mother and father, Joyce and Nelson, and prayers for his daughter, Bianca. Rest in Peace, Showman Mary Grace Hughes

I grew up with Chris, he tormented me into his teens by calling me fatty, when I was not even fat. he picked on me because I was sensative and quite. I think he was a tortured soul from early on, quite sad.

I met Chris in 1992...I found him to be a kind and gentle person, though haunted by hurt and sensitivity and loneliness... I feared this news would come someday, even though I always wished him only the best.... He was one of figure skating's brightest and most talented stars, and he will be dearly missed... Rest in Peace, Chris...we will always love you... Joyce and Nelson, we met as well the night before Chris' 25th birthday at the '92 Worlds in Oakland, and my heart goes out to you....my mom and I gave Chris a gold St. Christopher medal, with the hope that it might keep him safe.... And maybe it did, for awhile....
