Kwame is a product of his thieving father and his do nothing in the House of Representatives mother. They were all taught by the now deceased McNamara who robbed the county blind.

Get off the man's back...he's no saint by any means...but he only owes an apology to his wife & children for any indiscretions & more importantly he only has to answer to God. All of these presidents were sited for having extramarital affairs,Thomas Jefferson, James Garfield, Warren Harding, Franklin Roosevelt, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, and Bill Clinton. These three had children out of wedlock Thomas Jefferson, Grover Cleveland, and Warren Harding.Despite their indiscretions these men are not remembered for those things. Now somehow you think the mayor's indiscretions adversely effects the economy, our jobs, and our households. Get a grip people! I don't condone cheating but I also will not condone idiocracy. The mayor is doing a great job considering today's circumstances. What issues he has not addressed ultimately is because you weren't concerned enough to address them as citizens yourselves. Remember the mayor works for the city what becomes of true concern to us is a concern for him. Plus how many of you ever lost your job because you cheated on your spouses. What if that were put into effect? I wonder how many of us would lose jobs because we lied or cheated or didn't do things the way others believe we should...It's something to think about. You who are without sin cast the first stone. What you need to do is pray for the man and his family and support a young man trying to make a difference in his community. Become involved, give opinions about what matters. Also, stop complaining about what you refuse to change. Go Team Kilpatrick!!!! Move them to the NEXT Detroit...despite their refusal to see the good in what you do...

This man's lies cost the city of Detroit millions of dollars...he needs to go...and he needs to be prosecuted. He needed to be a big enough man to own up to his immoral actions. If he can't be trusted to be honest, how can we trust him with running a city? Get rid of this scum-bag!

I would love to know how much he spends on those suits he wears. Clearly he has to have something tailored to fit his strange looking physique. I'm sure the taxpayers of Detroit are paying for it. Goodness people wake up. This man is a clown and he's making fools out of all of you. Detroit has the potential to be a great city again, but not as long as clown boy is at the helm.

Voters in Detroit are as dumb as D.C. voters.When will this country wake up? Race is the biggest factor in Politics today. Find a representative with some integrity and will not spend your tax dollars like this "new aged' black man.Have some person responibility as well. You create and perpetuate your own problems. Don't blame whites on this.Blame the person in the mirror for once. I'm casting a stone because I have never cheated on my wife of 10 years and never spent tax payer dollars like a personal pleaser fund. Send him packing. The last post is completely stupid and has nothing to do with the topic. I understand that we are all human and we make mistakes...but, human or not, there are consequences to our actions. He chose to lie under oath knowing the consequences for perjury. He lied to his wife knowing the consequences of cheating. He made the choices that put him in the position he is in today....he chose the behavior, he chose the consequences. It's not that he cheated on his wife, it's that he lied about it in spite of what it cost him or others. He is selfish and deceitful. These are not things you want from someone who is supposed to represent you and make choices about your life.

In complete agreement with Tish. I think there is a lot of hipocrisy in the comments of critics. Is he the only politician that has had an affair? Come on lets be real. This should be a matter between him and his family, and noone else. And as someone else added, "He who is without sin cast the first stone……."

Hahaha, I think Imari's statements sum it all up. What humans are and what we pretend to be are two very different creatures. He knew when he began pursuit of public office that it is hard to say no to a willing woman, then again, perhaps the admiration of loose, immoral women was one of the motivations for his running for office in the first place. Not everyone has the public's best interest at heart. In fact, I'm in a room full of college students, and I'm pretty sure that they are all looking out for number one. Probably won't be any loose women in prison though.

Being a Black-American has nothing to do with the mayor's actions. There are plenty of politicians of all races who have committed the same or even worst acts than the mayor. The mayor was not smart enough to not use company issued equipment to do his dirt. I do not agree with many of his actions but I think alot of the people comments are from pure jealously of a young man being voted into this position. I feel it's said that such an intelligent man made bad choices. Because regardless of his actions, check his educational background for those who has so much too say. He is very well educated individual. If he was not qualified, he would not have been given the title as mayor. People are so quick to judge when they are so far from being perfect themselves. It's not even that serious for some of the uncalled for comments on this page. But I guess people are free to say what feel.....

To all those who claim that Kilpatrick's "intelligence" is born out by his educational background, allow me to enlighten you... No amount of formal education - no matter how pretentious and lofty it appears on paper - is any indication whatsoever of a person's intelligence. This is particularly true when it comes to ethnic and racial "minorities", many of whom qualify for college entrance based much more on racist preferences than on their actual abilities or potential. Actions speak much louder than big mouths or elitist credentials ever could, and this buffoon's actions clearly indicate that he is an egotistical dumbass with no respect for the law. As such he belongs in prison, with others of his lowly ilk.
