The media is blowing this whole story out of perspective. Teenage pregnancy is occurring all over this country, yet the tabloids act as if this were the first reported case. Jamie will have enough money from her sister and that make being a parent a lot easier, even at the age of sixteen.

OK there BOB from 1/10/08 @ 4:26 pm. I think that you and your little penis are just a bit jealous! :o) She seems to be a great kid and just because she sleeps w/ her boyfriend and gives you notta does not make her a slut. Get a blow up girl, relieve yourself and then go and apologize to Jamie like a true man would to to a female. I don't think that you would talk to your mother that way because if you did then I would knock you up side your head! Have a great day BOB! :o) For everyone else out there that has a problem with Jamie's situation, think about this......there are thousands, millions of babies out there everyday that are killed and beaten. This is what you are focused on. A 16 yr. old girl that wants to obviously, keep her baby, has the money, support and will to care for her baby and yet this is what most people are caring about. Granted, included myself, but I care that you are all going to hurt her emotionally and hurt her in a way that turns her into someone that she never would have become if you never would have done so in the first place. Look at what everyone did to her sister. Now look who has them and think about those kids! If we all keep looking for the bad aspects of a person, we will bring it out in them because thats what you all want. What is wrong with saying "What if Casey is the father and they are going to be great parents and they are going to be just fine. That they are going to make it" Is that such a horrible thing to look for, to hope for for these two kids? I know that with all this families disfunctional situations, that I really do hope that this baby will help make the difference for them. Whatever. You can all sit there an go after this girl, but she is no virgin Mary so stop blaming her for getting pregnant, leave her alone to raise her baby w/ Casey or w/o and go bother someone else already. Would you want someone torturing you or your kid like this? Just because she's an icon does not make her public property and you can just trash and bash her. "Good Luck, Jamie and Casey! They are the ones that got pregnant and I do think that she is going to be a better parent then her sister is. Maybe we dont have to see the kind of things that we have seen with Britney. But I think that moms that have kids gets another chance like Britney is getting. They both need to be good parents. Your kids are going to act like the way that your act unless you get to them before you grow up and maybe that is what Jamies going to do. I hope so. I am happy that YOU are having a BABY!!!!!!

you shouldnt just assume that they didnt take precautions. I mean, even condoms arent 100% all the time.
Besides, condoms break. Thats apparently what casey wrote on his myspace after news of jamie's pregnancy first hit.
so unless you were there in the room with them when they were making the baby, you shouldnt just point the finger and say, 'they shouldve used condoms' or whatever. you dont know for sure what happened.
besides, people are all appauled that shes so young and having a baby, but its like, what would you rather she have an abortion?
