WOW!! All this controversy, and attempted destruction, of a beautiful young person that is entered in a BEAUTY CONTEST!!! Should she be totally destroyed because of her ideals, whether they be questionable or NOT???? Beauty pagents have been held for dozens of years, and without the scathing ridicule this poor gal has had to endure. She voiced HER OWN opinions on marriage, but modern society has to condemn that, as it is not in the main stream thinking. Keep it up, and pretty soon the only individuals participating in beauty contests anymore will be Bessie the Borden Cow, a couple of Herefords from a Hereford ranch, and maybe a Brahma or two. At least, THEY don't have individual feelings about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Keep up the GREAT work, NBC!!!!!!

Miss Prejean learned a powerful lesson about opinions. People tend to live under the misapprehension that the First Amendment guarantees a right to voice an opinion without consequence. This simply is not true. Try going to work and saying that you don't think black people should be allowed to be married. There's a very good chance you might be fired for doing so. You may be allowed to state your opinion, but the company is also well within its rights to terminate your employment for violating their policies.
A pageant judge asked Miss Prejean a question, she answered, and he gave her a poor score based on that response. That's how the world works. People need to remember that their opinions have intrinsic value only in their own heads, and that those opinions may not be greeted with universal praise by the rest of humanity.

let me just say, that i went top school with this girl. She was definitely a very rude,mean person that pretty much helped destroy my youth. She (as well as others) spread nasty rumors about me and ,made it so that i didnt want to attend school anymore. to this day i hold a grudge, but i DO NOT think that this 'sex tape' should have ruined her. she was young when it happened, aand it had nothing to do with what she has grown up to be. I think this scandal is ridiculous and everyone should just get over it.

The tape was only made 2 years ago, so CP wasn't even a teenager as
she's been claiming to the media.
The only reason there is any scandal is because of CP's hypocrisy. No one would care about sex tapes or nude photo's if she wasn't promoting herself as the next Anita Bryant.
