I have an ECT post planned for the tufure, as I went through a series of the treatments about 10 years ago. Lots of misconceptions about it out there, but I also think I wasn't given enough information by the doctors and hospital staff about what to expect. Whatever the case, it's freaked me out enough to not want to go through it ever again.
