It's amazing that a supposed law and order Governor who said they were going to be the most ethical like the Clintons also ended up being dirty.
Ashley Youmans had zero to do with Spitzer getting busted from FBI recordings.
She may testify agaisnt him for her own reduced charges, but it was the Governor who betrayed his wife and daughters.

I'm not sure that any Governor or politician of any political party pretends to be anything other than a big proponent of law and order, especially during the pre-election stage, e.g. kissing babies, hugging Grandmothers, visiting patients with terminable illnesses.
As for Ashley Youman being labeled a whore, I would say she is no more a whore then Spitzer is, only thing is Penthouse doesn't want Spitzer as a centerfold or cover story , maybe he could go with Playgirl, equal opportunity for all libertines,regardless of gender.

I just feel bad for the family, he is not helping his wife and children with this behavior.
However, I don't think the law should be involved in such matters. This is American Sharia and nothing more. As long as she pays taxes, her and the escort / prostitute professions can be a valuable source of tax revenue and licensed like any other if need be.
As for Ashley, I hope she finds some one to love her and she can achieve some success at whatever it is she wants to do. I hope and pray she can heal from whatever bad things she had to live through as a child.
It surprises and shocks me how many fake Christians are out there. If you are really a Christian you will love and care about your fellow men & women. This is an example of american society and trash in high society in upper class.
