The big deal is he has prosecuted other people for what he just got caught doing. If not for his own crusading on this issue, I think people, in general, would have cut him some slack....

This is just really bad all the way around. Spitzer is a wack job, the "whore" is well just a working girl who lives in a really nice place, travels to nice places, and gets paid for getting screwed... No judgement, just her life. I moved to NYC at the same age, came from the same background, and did not have to compromise my morals/life to make ends meet. We are all screwed.. She will be famous, spitzer will make a mint and us people that work hard to walk the line and do the right thing are all just screwed.... this is getting depressing...

This is not an example of a character defect; it's a defective character and only plainly demonstrates the hypocrite he is.
