From a heated exchange between Perez Hilton and will.i.am that led to a rumble, to another Real Housewives of New Jersey star hating Danielle Staub, to Terrell Owens being told off by a Playboy model, this week had some quality celeb feuds.

Oh, and don't forget Mark Sanford feuding ... with brainpower and morals during his affair with Maria Belen Chapur. Side note: Jon and Kate Gosselin have been removed from this list, as their "feud" ended in divorce. So it's over. With no winner.

What was the best celebrity feud of the week?

Perez Hilton is sad.

After getting his clock cleaned by the manager of the Black Eyed Peas following a war of words outside the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto, Ont., the celebrity gossip blogger is not only bitter at his attacker, but people who don't feel really sorry for him.

While no one condones a violent assault (follow the link to check out the video of the fight), many find it difficult to sympathize with a classless idiot who:

• Clearly relishes the role of instigator.
• Went out of his way to cause trouble, as usual.
• Chose terribly offensive language to provoke someone.

This upsets Perez.

Here are excerpts from his whiny statement:

"Words can hurt. I know that very well, from both sides of the fence."

"I was in an out-of-the ordinary situaton [sic] and used a word that I would not utter under normal circumstances. My intention - however misguided it may have been - was to stand up for myself and tell this belligerent man that I had enough of his badgering and was not going to continue to let him berate and intimidate me. I wanted to hurt him with the word I chose, not anyone else. Unfortunately, the one who got hurt was me and, subsequently, a lot of other people. I wish none of it had happened."

"I've come to terms with all my incongruities and am proud of who I am and what I do. In closing, words can hurt. But words should not provoke someone to violence. Stripped away from the mask of Perez Hilton, I have been extremely bothered by the public reaction to my assault. Violence should never be condoned with such statements as 'It's Karma' or 'I don't believe in violence but…'"

"In fact, several television and radio shows over the past couple of days echoed the sentiment "He had it coming.' Would they have said the same thing if I was a woman? Would I have 'deserved it' if I had been stabbed? Or shot? Or killed?"

"There are many ways to deal with disagreements, both good and bad, but violence is never the answer. Never. I now know that first-hand. It should not be condoned, promoted or accepted. No one 'deserves' to be the victim of violence."

"No one 'has it coming.' NO ONE. And victims should not be ridiculed."

Amazingly, the exact instant in which Perez Hilton got punched in the dome during an altercation with the Black Eyed Peas was captured in the photograph below.

The image clearly shows Perez wincing as he was getting socked with a clenched fist, or a nanosecond after the fact. The terrified look on his face tells it all.

It is not clear:

1. Who the fist belongs to (Perez claims the Peas' manager, Polo Molina, threw the punch after the blogger and will.i.am got into an argument in Toronto).
2. Whether that is in fact Lady Gaga on the left.

We've seen the video of the Perez-will.i.am fight after the MuchMusic Awards, now here's the photo taken as heated words escalated into a violent melee:

Guess Perez Hilton wasn't lying about being punched in the head. Whether the pink-haired' one's conduct is to blame for the violent incident is another subject.

The incident ended with the celebrity gossip magnate Tweeting his followers for help, and police eventually arresting Polo Molina for the assault on Hilton.

Perez and will.i.am were allegedly arguing over his coverage of the Black Eyed Peas and his blog when Hilton called will.i.am a f**got, sparking the attack.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is furious at Perez, who is gay, for his use of that slur, and asked that Hilton make an apology.

But now Perez is ticked at GLAAD and says they should apologize.

He said in a statement:

"I am saddened GLAAD chose to victimize me further by criticizing me for how I non-violently dealt with a scary situation that, unfortunately, turned violent."

"While I doubt I will get an apology from GLAAD, nor do I expect one, I hope people know how difficult it is to intellectualize a situation and think rationally when a thug disguised as a musician is screaming at your face and intimidating you."

"I am just very fortunate and grateful that nothing more serious happened to me."

Do you sympathize with Perez that the altercation turned violent and he was hit? Or did he deserve what he got? Whose side are you on?

Perez Hilton used the word "f**got" to describe will.i.am during their fight the other night, which the blogger said he did because it would really tick him off.

It worked, and Perez was assaulted by the Black Eyed Peas' manager.

Well, not surprisingly, it appears that will.i.am and his camp were not the only peeps offended by the crass use of the anti-gay slur by Perez (who is gay).

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) says they have asked the most hated man in celebrity gossip to apologize for using the awful word.

Perez must be really busy scrawling sex organs and unfunny comments on various celebrity pictures, because he has yet to respond to the group's request.

Perez Hilton allegedly received a black eye for disturbing the Peas.

GLAAD's statement on the incident - which led to Black Eyed Peas manager Polo Molina being arrested and charged with assault on Hilton, reads:

"We have reached out to Perez Hilton and asked him to apologize for promoting this anti-gay slur, and we would ask media outlets to avoid repetition of the slur in their coverage of this story.

"For someone in our own community to use it to attack another human being by saying that it is, quote, 'The worst possible thing that thug would ever want to hear,' is incredibly dangerous."

"It legitimizes use of a slur that is often linked to violence against our community. And it sends a message that it is OK to attempt to dehumanize people by exploiting these anti-gay attitudes."

Early this morning, an altercation between Perez Hilton and will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas led to an arrest - and left both parties steamed and pointing fingers.

Well, a video of the incident that ended with an assault on Perez Hilton has now surfaced - and the blogger clearly be heard calling will.i.am a "f**king f*ggot."

The footage begins in the middle of the verbal altercation outside an after-party for the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto, Ontario. This is moments after Perez says will.i.am went after him like a "heat-seeking missile" and unleashed a verbal tirade.

With a crowd surrounding Perez, will.i.am and the Peas' manager Polo Molina, the guys argue back and forth for about a minute, until Perez tells will.i.am:

"You're not a f**king artist ... you're a f**king f*ggot!"

Classy. The scene suddenly turns chaotic - and in the mess someone punches Perez in the face. Polo Molina was arrested for the alleged assault, for which Hilton initially blamed will.i.am and said he was hit "two or three times."

will.i.am also posted a video blog saying he never hit anyone.

Polo Molina, the general manager of the Black Eyed Peas, has turned himself in to Toronto police in conjunction with the fight that left Perez Hilton assaulted.

The Peas were not going to be allowed to leave the country unless the cops got their man, which would have created major problems for their current tour.

Perez Hilton claims Molina assaulted him last night, after the MuchMusic Awards. Molina has been charged with assault, following the blogger's accusations.

In a super-emotional video on his website, Perez is blasting will.i.am as a "coward and a disgusting human being for lying" about the attack this morning.

Perez says the ruckus started after a confrontation with Fergie at an after-party. Perez claims Fergie asked why he trashed her on his notorious website.

Hilton then says that later in the night, will.i.am saw him and came at him "like a heat seeking missile," and demanded he stop writing about Fergie and his band.

The celebrity gossip blogger claims will.i.am and his manager, Polo Molina, followed him outside the club, where Polo punched him in the head "2 or 3 times."

Hilton claims when he got hit, he thought to himself, "I think my eye might be falling out of my head." Perez added this parting shot, in reference to his adversary's story, "God knows it was not a random fan that hit me ... you are a f**king liar."

will.i.am released a video response earlier, claiming he didn't beat Perez.

An encounter with the Black Eyed Peas early this morning in Canada left Perez Hilton assaulted and calling for help via Twitter, according to the blogger.

Instead of calling Toronto police, Perez Hilton appears to have used his TMobile Sidekick to go on Twitter and get his followers to call the cops for him.

He posted this Tweet for help a few hours ago: “I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.”

Then: “I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”

Then: "Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel."

Then: "I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here."

The cops eventually did show up, and are reportedly investigating.

What actually happened between these two remains unclear.

From will.i.am's account, Hilton was rude to Fergie and will.i.am confronted him. Hilton then called will.i.am a f*ggot and a Black Eyed Peas fan beat Hilton up.

Hours later, Will.I.am created his own Twitter account of his own to respond to Hilton's accusations, writing his side of the story: "i just made a twitter account because it isnt cool for someone to blame you and blast you with lies..."

will.i.am then linked to a response video where he denied ever hitting the blogger (below, be forewarned in watching it that it contains graphic language).

“I was the one that came to him with respect, and he was the one who called me a f*ggot outside the club," will.i.am said in the video. “Sounds like somebody wants mad attention and is not really concerned about his health.”

“Shame on you, shame on your behavior, and that’s just messed up."

Perez Hilton responded, saying: “There are multiple witnesses. You can deny all you want. The truth is the truth and I am telling the truth.”
