So they're making cutouts of Vanessa Curry - alleged mistress of Kobe Bryant.

Kobe Bryant has denied that the affair with Vanessa Curry, an ex-Laker Girl, took place. He quickly fired off a legal letter to the website that spread the rumor.

The site in question, TheDirty.com, replied that given Kobe Bryant's past indiscretions, a court isn't exactly likely to find the story libelous. It's also going to call a lot more attention to the supposed affair than it's already getting.

In any case, tune in tonight to see Boston fans holding up Vanessa Curry pics to try to get in Kobe's head. Will their tactic work?

Earlier this week, Bryant's lawyer fired off a letter to TheDirty.com, demanding that the post about Kobe and Vanessa Curry be taken down.

TheDirty claimed Kobe had an affair with Curry, 18, who has resigned her position with the Laker Girls - the Lakers' cheerleaders.

The site's lawyers are firing back, claiming the story is in fact true, but even if it wasn't, "because Mr. Bryant has previously publicly admitted to similar acts of infidelity... it seems unlikely that any jury would find 'actual malice.'"
