Kim Kardashian has been cast in a Tyler Perry movie titled The Marriage Counselor. Even if she isn't playing the title role, come on, that's hilarious.

But not to the mega producer himself. He doesn't really get the humor behind this selection, even after Kim filed for divorce 72 days after wedding Kris Humphries. And even though, you know, she cannot act.

"She literally has millions of young people following her," Perry wrote on his official website. "I thought and still do think, that it would be very responsible of her to be a part of this film... If one of those young people see this film and find the strength to live a better life and not go through what these characters went through in this movie, then we have all done what I feel I'm being led to do here."

Decent point, Ty. But do those followers really need Kim to star in a movie in order to use her life story as a cautionary tale?

Asked Perry: "Because I believe that my films speak from the inside out, why wouldn't Kim Kardashian be invited into a film about Faith, Forgiveness and the healing power of God?"

We're just guessing here... but maybe because she has no soul?

South Park is really timely these days. The Comedy Central show somehow managed to ridicule the death of Osama Bin Laden days after it happened!

The main premise, derived from creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker begrudgingly attending The Comedy Awards last month, was likely written long ago.

Still, inserting Bin Laden and bringing President Obama in had to take place within the last 48 hours, a commendable, even award-winning achievement!

Token and Obama being the only people to laugh at Tyler Perry? Offensive, for sure, but pretty hilarious. As was Token just directly handing him money.

South Park Parodies Bin Laden Death

After watching a screening of the new movie Precious - which centers on a teenage girl struggling to overcome mental and physical abuse - comedian Tyler Perry said "a large part of my childhood had just played out before my eyes."

Perry then revealed he was sexually and physically abused as a child.

"I always thought I would die before I grew up," Perry, 40, wrote in a letter to fans on his Web site, before recounting the various abuse he suffered.

One night, he says his father "came home mad at the world. He was drunk, as he was most of the time. He got the vacuum cleaner extension cord, trapped me in a room and beat me until the skin was coming off my back."

He says a neighbor woman molested him at age 10 and that his grandmother tried to to rid him of his allergies by giving him "a bath in ammonia."

"She said she was going to kill these germs on me once and for all," Perry recalled of an incident that surely scarred him for life in multiple ways.

Tyler Perry is going public with a painful part of his past.

Watching Precious - which he produced, along with Oprah Winfrey, "hit me so hard. I sat there in tears realizing that somehow, by the grace of God, I made it through. My tears were tears of joy, being thankful that I made it."

Like Mackenzie Phillips, Tyler Perry hopes his tales of hardship will help those who suffered similar (and worse) abuses in their formative years.

Looking back, Perry says his faith has gotten him through tough times. "Forgiveness has been my weapon of choice. It has helped to free me."

"If you're having a hard time getting over something in your life, maybe you can try forgiveness too. It's not easy, but it does bring forth healing."

Talk about a painful story but also an inspiring message from a guy who's obviously overcome a lot to achieve a strong career doing what he loves.

At least the Britney Spears stalker seemed harmless enough, albeit moronic. Tyler Perry's version appears to be straight up crazy and possibly homocidal.

According to a restraining order obtained against the woman accused of stalking the unfunny comedian, Perry is apparently a prime candidate for murder.

Dawne Wilson was arrested for aggravated stalking outside Perry's production studios in Atlanta ... a place she's paid unwanted visits many times before.

The restraining order claims in March 2008, Dawne Wilson began contacting Tyler Perry by computer and making threats "in a menacing manner."

He feared "apprehension of immediately receiving a violent injury."

According to court documents, in April, 2008, Wilson sent another e-mail saying "You need to check your heart condition because it is filled with murder... your love has been but costly and deadly.... Murder I say is the verdict."

Dawne Wilson rambled on, "Why do you insist on assisting the devil?"

This crazy chick was taken into custody after showing up at Perry's recording studio last Wednesday, in blatant violation of the restraining order.
