Last night on Two and a Half Men Season 12 Episode 4, a mother-to-be met Alan and Walden in her quest to find suitable parents to adopt her baby.

How did she feel about our newly-married duo as candidates?

As expected, Alan and Walden's antics were ridiculous as ever as the newly-married duo tried to win her over on Two and a Half Men Season 12 Episode 4.

A social worker drops by and is impressed at Walden's baby-proofing. She also tells mentions that a birth mother, Kathy, might be the perfect match.

Kathy is, of course, beautiful, and Alan really wants to hit it.

Her pregnancy is the result of a spring break trip to Vegas, so there is no man in the picture. Alan opens up to her about Jake, and about Walden.

Mostly opens up. They are still pretending to be gay, as you know by now if you watch Two and a Half Men online. But it was still a heartfelt scene.

While they got hitched last week with an assist from Michael Bolton, last night's Two and a Half Men Season 12 Episode 3 saw Walden and Alan trying to look the part.

So that a social worker would buy into their loving union, that is.

When Two and a Half Men Season 12 Episode 3 got started, Walden and Alan fill out their adoption paperwork, and Jenny says she's moving in with Evelyn.

In response to a question on this crucial questionnaire asking why they want a baby, Walden answers “because we’re dudes and we don’t have baby holes.”

They both burst out laughing at their own joke, of course, as we wonder if perhaps it's good this is the last season you can watch Two and a Half Men online.

Jenny warns them to take this seriously or they're done. Walden and Alan practice by writing essays about one another to prove they can sell this.

On Two and a Half Men Season 12 Episode 2, we picked up not long after Alan and Walden's surprise gay marriage proposal on the final season premiere.

If you missed it, Walden convinces Alan to marry him so he has a better chance at adopting a baby, setting the stage for the sitcom's huge gay sendoff.

Walden, we're reminded again on Two and a Half Men Season 12 Episode 2, wants to leave a legacy in this world but just can't find the right woman.

What he can find is a great "husband" in Alan.

Alan has nine out of ten qualities that Walden is looking for (you can do the math on the missing 10th), which isn't a surprise since they are best friends.

Really, why haven't more single bros desperate to adopt babies alone thought of this incredible faux gay workaround? It begs the question, that's for sure.

Not that there aren't some snags, even in this near perfect relationship. Alan wants a destination wedding, while Walden just wants a courthouse ceremony.

Also, Alan is offended when Walden asks to get a pre-nuptial agreement, which is probably just in this (or any) billionaire's DNA at this point in life.

Last night's Two and a Half Men Season 12 Episode 1 marked the final season premiere for the longtime CBS staple you had probably forgotten was still on the air.

This is not a joke. It is really still on the air.

In a nutshell, Two and a Half Men Season 12 Episode 1 focused on Walden asking for Alan's assistance with adjusting his priorities in life after a health scare.

A scare on Halloween, appropriately.

We begin as the guys prepare for a night out with some of Walden’s girlfriends, and Alan noting that putting “slutty” in front of any job makes it a costume.

Walden collapses in pain, and not from that joke. Later, we learn that Walden had a mild heart attack but will make a full recovery. Sort of like the show?

In any case, Walden awakens to a nun-dressed Berta and Ferris Bueller's faces, understandably believing he is in hell and that his life is really pathetic.

Get this guy some morphine, STAT.

Two and a Half Men has certainly known its share of controversy (see Sheen, Charlie).

So it should come as little surprise that the CBS sitcom is courting more of it heading into its final season.

Speaking to reporters today at the Television Critics Assocation summer press tour, network Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler revealed the show's main upcoming storyline.

"Walden [Ashton Kutcher] is going to have a major health scare and it's going to give him a little bit of an existential crisis," the executive teased.

Looking to "add more meaning to his life," the character will decide to adopt a child.

HOWEVER, "he realizes it's very difficult to adopt a child as a single, straight man," so "once and for all he decides I'm going to propose to Alan," Tassler explained, adding of Walden's thought process:

"We're going to get married and we're going to adopt a child as a gay couple. That's going to start the season on Two and a Half Men and I think we're off to a great ride."
