Roseanne Barr is at it again, going off an amazing rant on Twitter about how she's done with the TV business and is considering going into porn instead.

Porn of the geriatric variety, no less.

That's a direct quote, THGers. "I'm going to start doing porn now-f-ck it-that's right-geriatric porn. ‪#movingtoPortugal," the 61-year-old comic actress tweeted.‬

Is Portugal renowned for adult films featuring the AARP crowd? That's not a rhetorical question, we're genuinely curious. In any case, she wasn't done.

"I'm never going to work in television again. I'm never going to even attempt it. I feel as if I've been insulted / assaulted for over a year," she went on.

"Actually, for many years ... from my first reality show to my second and two failed development details. Don't call me - I won't call you. I'm gone."

"Not ONE word remained of any ideas I had. I was constantly 'corrected' as if I had no track record whatsoever. I'm just enraged over all of it."

Paul Walker is dead after a fiery, single-car accident and explosion in California Saturday. The driver of the car lost control and both men passed away.

A rep for the actor confirmed the tragedy on his official Facebook page. He was only 40, and Walker leaves behind 15-year-old daughter Meadow.

The Fast & The Furious star's final act was a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide. It was at this event where Paul Walker died.

Elan Gale, a TV producer whose credits include The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, got into an epic beef with a passenger on his flight on Thanksgiving.

He live-Tweeted the whole thing, from before takeoff until after landing, and every passive-aggressive (or actually aggressive) barb is documented.

The airline feud for the ages played out in real time at Gale's @theyearofelan Twitter handle, and we've posted it in full below for your enjoyment.

The saga began as the pair's US Airways flight to Phoenix was delayed at takeoff, and Elan started sharing his co-passenger's idiotic reactions.

Soon, he decided to engage her, and while he was certainly antagonistic, it's hard to feel a lot of sympathy for "Diane" after you see her responses.

Every line below is a Tweet from Elan. You gotta read this, it's worth it ...

Looks like Charlie Sheen is at it again, trashing the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services on Twitter in violation of a gag order.

He also seems to be hungry for some fresh seafood.

The actor, who is living with the department, just tweeted the following messages, all using the letters DCFS and making some thinly-veiled points:

Tweets By Sheen

If you missed the background story here, Sheen is furious that ex-wife Brooke Mueller has been granted a path to establishing full custody of their twins.

Brooke's brother Scott was given custody after Charlie's previous ex, Denise Richards, told the court she couldn't care for Bob, Max and her two girls.

There is a gag order in place and Charlie has been warned about running his mouth (and Twitter) about the issue. His lawyer promised he'd behave.

So much for that. Then again, the judge in the case has also showed restraint, fearing that coming down on Sheen will only make this more of a circus.

He'll probably let it slide for that reason ... but we guarantee he's not amused, despite Sheen's aptitude for clever wordplay at the expense of DCFS.

Batkid has taken Gotham, and the Internet, by storm.

Five-year-old Miles lived out the dream of a lifetime as he became "Batkid" for a day in San Francisco on Friday, with the help of The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Diagnosed with leukemia at 18 months old, the boy ended his treatments in June and is now in remission, which is by far the most important part of the story.

What followed was awesome, though.

San Francisco turned itself into Gotham City, and thousands of bystanders cheered as Miles saved the city from some of Batman's iconic adversaries.

The Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area chapter outlined several crimes that Miles was asked to solve before being celebrated at a ceremony hosted by the mayor.

Batkid's crime-fighting spectacle made national news, and some big stars shared their reactions on social media. Here are some of the many celebrity responses ...

Ben Affleck: Batkid. Best Batman ever.  #SFBatKid #MakeAWish @SFWish

President Barack Obama: Way to go Miles, way to save Gotham! #FollowFriday RT @SFWish: Here he comes!!!! #SFBatkid

We write about celebrity gossip for a living.

We mock Kim Kardashian and we shake our heads over Farrah Abraham and we're only able to do so because men and women a lot braver than us have fought for our freedom overseas.

So on Veterans Day 2013, THG would like the join the following stars in sending our appreciation to all members of the armed forces, past and present...

Veteran's Day Banner

Kerry Washington: With gratitude for those who have served and sacrificed... Thinking of all you brave men and women on this

Andy Cohen: THANK YOU VETERANS!

Selfies. Some call the burgeoning trend of online photo self portraits a major symptom of a self-centered, self-important, narcissistic, vain, "me" generation.

Others argue it's harmless fun, or even a way for an individual to "brand" themselves, as in maintain total control on how they are represented online.

Call it what you want, some are clearly more into it than others. So who posts the most? Mashable actually combed through Instagram to find out.

The results may surprise you. Well, at least some of them might.

The fact that four of the top 10 are related is obvious. Just try to guess which family we're talking about. Yet two of the top three overall are a bit surprising.

This is just Instagram, mind you. Miley Cyrus, who has long reigned as queen of Twitter selfies, doesn't even crack the top 10 on this social platform.

The top 10 most selfie-loving celebs on Instagram are ...

Funeral selfies, a phenomenon real enough that there's a Tumblr blog devoted to it, show that our society may have hit a new, self-absorbed low.

A collection of strangely un-sad Instagrams, Tweets, and Facebook posts have been gathered on a Tumblr blog (naturally) called "Selfies at Funerals."

'Cause after all, no moment in life, or death, is too serious or trivial to pass without posting a rapid, vapid response - or cute pic! - on social media.

"Love my hair today. Hate why I'm dressed up #funeral," reads the caption of a self-portrait snapped by a young woman dressed in black at a funeral.

"Killin the selfie game at pop's funeral," tweeted a joyful young man mocking a piece of statuary at the service (we wish we were making that up).

Another photo on the blog of a blonde girl pouting in a pink bedroom with a "Keep Calm and Rock On" sign is titled, simply, "depressing funeral selfie."

While Justin Bieber was busy being photographed leaving a brothel, Katy Perry was at home not being dumb. This strategy paid off as the "Walking on Air" singer has surpassed The Biebs as the most popular celebrity on Twitter.

Katy Perry boasts a record 46.48 million followers to Justin Bieber's 46.47 million. (How many of those followers are the same would be interesting but we've already used up our quota of math skills for the day.)

Perry's social media strategy? "Don't drink and tweet." And keep your clothes on.

  • Katy Perry in Pink
  • Justin Bieber Gets Hot

Bieber ousted Lady Gaga from her two-year reign as the Queen of Twitter 9 months ago. How long Katy Perry will remain on top of Twitter remains to be seen. But one thing's for sure, she's not changing who she is in order to gain more followers.

Why would she when being genuine has been working for her so far?

On the list of Unintentionally Comedic Moments in Social Media (which someone really should compile), this one from the Rev. Joel Osteen is pretty high up there.

Maybe not quite on the level of Chris Brown Twitter rant or an Anthony Weiner junk pic, but close. Behold, the pastor's pearl of wisdom from last week:

Osteen Tweet

The tweet was quickly deleted, for obvious reasons, but here we are.

Osteen, the best-selling author and pastor of the Lakewood church in Houston, has been the target of online hoaxes in the past. This doesn't appear to be one.

It looks like an unfortunate (or fortunate) choice of words. Nothing more, nothing less. Take away the accidental suggestiveness and it's a nice sentiment.

One that makes you wish you were true friends with Kate Upton.
