In news that makes the pregnant Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries look long and blissful, Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers have parted ways.

Just 26 days after they tied the knot. Those of you who had one month in our official pool were pretty much right on the money. Nicely done, THGers.

The first signs of trouble for the duo started brewing last week, when a late-night outing for Jenelle led to divorce talk and rumors that she was back on heroin.

Rogers accused her ex, Kieffer Delp, of getting her hooked on it, then voiced concern that she was sneaking around doing drugs behind his back.

After a change of heart and a few deleted tweets, they were back on as if nothing happened ... until last night when Courtland Rogers called it off. Why?

It's official and sort of refreshing: Miley Cyrus truly doesn't care at this point.

The singer has received a bit of flak over recent weeks for a few lewd images, from grabbing a stripper's butt during a birthday celebration to grabbing her own crotch during a rendition of Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell.'

She even called out Taylor Swift via Twitter.

But the young singer is continuing to embrace this risque image, posting a photo to Twitter over the weekend of a Christmas gift she recently received:

"Does this count for the carpool lane?" Cyrus asked as a caption to the image of herself and a blow-up doll riding shotgun.

We're pretty sure the answer is no. But we're also pretty sure this rebellious side of Miley is starting to grow on us.

President Barack Obama squared off with an unexpected adversary this week.

A White House photo released for Time magazine - which named Obama Person of the Year 2012 this week - shows the president goofing around with the son of a staff member.

This little Spider-Man gave him all he could handle on October 26:

Fortunately for Obama, he was able to escape the superhero's wrath, and went on to defeat Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election just two weeks later.

The little kid should take solace, though. He may have a shot to supplant Andrew Garfield when the reboot the Spider-Man franchise again in like two years.

Look, Heidi Klum, we get it.

You are very rich, famous and beautiful. Must you rub it in our faces?!?

The super model took to Twitter this week and posted a picture of herself sunbathing on some tropical island. Shirtless!

And while we're never against any Heidi Klum nude shots, we can't help but be reminded that: 1. We do not look like this; 2. We are sitting at our computer with two sweatshirts on at the moment.

Klum, we'd imagine, is spending the holidays with bodyguard/boyfriend Martin Kristen, as this will be her first Christmas in seven years as an unmarried woman.

Kristen may get to tap this any time he wants, but, hey, we can stare at Kate Upton bikini photos all day and night. That's pretty much the same thing, right?

The shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., left a nation in shock Friday afternoon after Adam Lanza gunned down 27 people, 20 of them children.

Hollywood Tweeted up a storm in response, sharing love, condolences, prayers and heartbreak, but also anger, disgust and frustration in many cases.

The Connecticut school shooting has once again raised debate about gun control and thrust it into the spotlight, as some of their Twitter reactions show:

But Justin Bieber had one thing going for him in 2012: Twitter. The company announced today that this singer was the most Tweeted about celebrity of the past 12 months.

Bieber leads a top five that includes Zayn Malik, Demi Lovato, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.

Yes, the boys of One Direction are well represented, and for good reason: Each band member enjoyed the biggest percentage increase in Twitter followers among celebrities for the year, with Niall Horan actually leading at 712%.
