Twitter, you no longer have Nicki Minaj to kick around.

On Sunday, following an exchange with a fansite that leaked one of her singles online, the hip hop star shut down her account with a very simple message: Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f-cking bye."

Minaj had been one of the most popular celebrities on Twitter, amassing more followers than Oprah.

With this move, though, she's only the latest in a long line of stars to at least take a break from that online world. Chris Brown has deleted his account on more than one occasion, while John Mayer, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato have all dropped out here and there, as well.

All eventually returned, however. Will Nicki do the same? Only time, and fan pressure, will tell!

The latest craze, heating up Hollywood at least? Makeup-free Twitter photos, as both Lady Gaga and Demi Lovato have gone all natural over the social network over the last few weeks. And now Jennifer Love Hewitt has joined the trend.

The actress made her first public appearance since exiting rehab last night - attending a private residence party in Beverly Hills to celebrate the launch of friend Amanda de Cadenet's TV show, The Conversation - and also made a request of followers on Twitter:

Lady Gaga is a major advocate for anti-bullying campaigns and LGBT rights, but she's come under fire for a Tweet she recently posted about ... eating.

Yes, in what some critics are interpreting as a pro-anorexic statement, the outspoken, wacky-dressing singer recently told her 22.6 million Twitter fans:

"Just killed back to back spin classes. Eating a salad dreaming of a cheeseburger #PopSingersDontEat #IWasBornThisWay," the 26-year-old posted.

Even though she was eating a salad (maybe she's just dieting?), the backlash started rolling in, accusing the pop star of supporting eating disorders.

"Seriously what is Lady Gaga playing at? In her last tweet she put #PopSingersDontEat. What a great role model she is..." one Tweeter posted.

Added another Tweeter:

"@ladygaga I'm stunned that you would promote such an unhealthy attitude towards food to your fans when you claim to be so righteous."

So far, no response from Gaga on Twitter, and since she's not doing interviews for awhile, don't expect a public comment anywhere else.

Frances Bean Cobain has lashed out at her mother Courtney Love for claiming on Twitter than her late husband's bandmate Dave Grohl hit on her.

Love claimed Grohl "hit on" Frances and is "obsessed" with the teenage daughter of Kurt Cobain, and that "she was curious" about him as well.

Frances wasted no time in pointedly slamming the rumor and her mom.

"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn," says Frances. "I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy."

Frances adds: "Twitter should ban my mother."

Grohl, the Nirvana drummer turned Foo Fighters frontman, also ripped Love, who claimed he was "sexually obsessed" with Frances and/or Kurt.

"Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant," Grohl, the married father of two daughters, says through his rep in response.

"These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."

For her part, Frances Bean Cobain, 19, is happy at least, getting engaged to Isaiah Silva, frontman of the rock band the Rambles, last fall.

Courtney Love fired off a Twitter missive in which she accuses former Nirvana member Dave Grohl of hitting on her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.

Grohl angrily denied the allegation.

"Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant," he said via his publicist. "These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."

What the Foo Fighters frontman is referring to is a series of tweets the 47-year-old Love, the late Kurt Cobain's widow, lobbed last night online.

SIDE NOTE: Hilariously, her allegations against @davegrohl actually went to a German IT student by that name ... it's not the rocker's account.

Anyway, Love Tweeted the following:

"I hear from frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious, I'm not mad at her, him I am about to shoot, dead."

Courtney admitted the whole thing may have been gossip she heard from a driver, but still laid into the musician because she totally believes it:

Getting pregnant and married as a teenager certainly has its challenges, and Teen Mom 2's Leah Messer is apparently fed up with some of her critics.

Leah has received backlash for getting knocked up, getting married, getting divorced and now getting married again. She even got jumped recently.

"People are ignorant," the newly-hitched 19-year-old tweeted recently, lashing out and explaining why she no longer looks at her mentions on Twitter.

Leah Messer married Jeremy Calvert last week at the Catlettsburg Wedding Chapel in Ashland, Kentucky. It's the second marriage for the youngster.

She has twin daughters, Aleeah and Aliannah, with Corey Simms.

Not everyone is thrilled for Leah, however and some fans have chastised the reality star not just for her actions, but for not responding to messages.

She's had just about enough in any case.

"So many immature and inconsiderate people out yhrtr. If you're one of those please #growup," she tweeted from her @TM2LeahDawn account.

Leah has more than 450,000 Twitter fans, some of whom presumably don't hate her, so there might be some supporters in there too. Just saying.

Usher is NOT dead, despite Twitter reports to the contrary.

The star is alive and well ... and really ripped, apparently!

The R&B sensation became the latest "victim" of the lame and morbid trend of creating fake celebrity death stories and watching the rumors spread like wildfire online.

Way to go, hoax starters and people re-tweeting them! You really proved your point, or something! Anyway, Usher quickly assured us there's no need to worry:

"I must've died and went to heaven... Alive and cold kickin ass!!" he tweeted, along with a photo showing off his shirtless, buff bod, adding: "Livin' Legend!"

Now that's how you refute a death hoax.

She's preached it ever since her trip to rehab: it's what inside that counts. It's the real you that matters.

And now Demi Lovato has put that philosophy into practice, posting a photo on Twitter of herself makeup-free, a rarity for celebrities. (Lady Gaga went a similar route late last month). Take a look for yourself:

"I'm not always perfectly happy with my body," Lovato said in a recent interview with WE7. "After all, I'm a woman and what woman is? But I make sure I tell myself that I'm beautiful and I tell myself daily affirmations, so I would recommend that to younger girls - and guys."

Miley Cyrus is firing back at critics alleging she has an eating disorder after a recent Twitter pic sparked a great deal of speculation to that effect.

Rumors that the 19-year-old might be anorexic were spawned after posting a photo of her and a bag from fast food chain restaurant Carl's Jr.

In a caption, she Tweeted, "I can't eat it. So I'm just gonna smell the s**t out of it! My mouth is LITERALLY watering." This was the photo:

Recent Miley Cyrus pictures do show the star looking thinner than in the past, so it wasn't totally off base, but she's not starving herself, dudes. Chillax.

Miley, no stranger to Twitter-induced controversy, was APPALLED that people would DARE interpret it that way and HAD to clarify matters ... on Twitter.

"For everyone calling me anorexic I have a gluten and lactose allergy," she wrote. "It's not about weight it's about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!"

She then Tweeted at sister Noah Cyrus: "U saw how much I ate today at Easter but all of it was healthy and even more fulfilling! Health is happiness!"

There you go, people. Miles has cleared the air. No need to pay attention to every little thing she does, because she would obviously hate that. We clear?
