Happy Memorial Day, readers around the country.

On this special occasion, we stop to appreciate those who have lost their lives in battle, hopefully taking a few moments to count our blessings and show gratitude to everyone who has fought for our freedom.

That's what the following celebrities are doing at least, as we rundown a number of Tweets passed along in relation to this holiday, which brings singers, actors and teen moms together for the same important cause...

Drew Carey
The Price is Right host Drew Carey spent six years (1980-1986) in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He still has the haircut!

Justin Timberlake: Today we remember our heroes in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our great nation. Thanks to them we can live freely.

John Stamos: My Uncle Don and Ralph and many other men and woman DIED for our country. These fallen heroes represent the character of our nation. THANK U.

Jenelle Evans: Men AND women who served, #ThankYou . #MemorialDay.

Rihanna has officially made Charlie Sheen's enemies list after turning down his request to meet his fiancee at a restaurant last night in Santa Monica.

Boy is he fuming now!

Charlie said he was there celebrating the birthday of Scottine (a.k.a. his fiancee Brett Rossi), and found out Rihanna was also dining at Giorgio Baldi.

Upon learning this, he sent over a request to the singer's table for a meet-and-greet, 'cause Brett/Scottine is a big fan ... only to be straight up rejected.

According to the Warlock, "there were too many paps outside" for Rihanna's liking, and that excuse didn't sit well at all with the future Mr. Brett Rossi.

He absolutely LIT HER UP on Twitter, writing:

"Nice impression you left behind, Bday or not. Sorry we're not KOOL enough to warrant a blessing from the Princess (or in this case the Village idiot)."

Follow the jump to read his truly epic tirade, which puts to shame his labeling Farrah Abraham a guzzler of stagnant douche agua (if that's possible ...

Hold on to your hats, people. The Douchepocalypse is nigh. Need proof? We have it.

Apparently, Jaden Smith tweets lofty and "philosophical" things in order to make himself sound ... smart. But it pretty much backfires in the most awesomely hilarious of ways.

See these 15 Jaden Smith tweets for proof ...

Man In the Mirror
If eyes are made of glass and mirrors are made of glass does that mean eyes are mirrors? Because we thought eyes were windows to the soul.

Okay. That Moises Arias tweet? HILARIOUS.

Even if Jada and Will Smith are being investigated by Child Protective Services over the incident that found Willow Smith in bed with the 20 year old.

We may never know why Solange Knowles attacked Jay Z in an elevator this month and left fans questioning the state of Jay Z's marriage to Beyonce.

We may never be privy to the words that were exchanged between this rapper and his sister-in-law before the incident, which went viral yesterday morning.

But the Internet has some ideas. Within minutes of the Solange assault video hitting the Internet, the hashtag #WhatJayZSaidtoSolange started to trend on Twitter.

Users joked about Chris Brown, Street Fighter, Beyonce's blood-alcohol level and more as the disturbing surveillance video became the center of the comedy universe.

Again, we have no idea what transpired or caused the surprising fight inside that elevator. But we do know that the memes are good for a few chuckles ...

With the major networks descending on New York City this week in order to announce their upcoming lineups - peruse the 2014-2015 NBC schedule and Fox schedule now - we just have one question:

Is it too late for Ricky Gervais and Russell Crowe to headline their very own series?

The comedian and the actor very much enjoyed a nigh of drinking together in Newcastle, England last night, chronicling the evening out in a series of hilarious Tweets.

Ricky Gervais and Russell Crowe

"Who am I getting drunk with at the moment?" Gervais wrote along with a photo of the stars looking a tad disheveled at a restaurant.

Crowe replied to the message with: "@rickygervais Roger Moore?"

As if we needed more reason to love Arya Stark!

Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams tweeted a photo of herself made-up to look like Lorde last night and the result is an uncanny resemblance!

"Good Lorde, I have too much time on my hands," Maisie tweeted along with the above photo. Seems the 17-year-old actress is as skilled with a pun as her character is with a sword!

Of course, this isn't the first time Maisie has demonstrated an ability to shape-shift.

She made our list of Game of Thrones actors who look completely different in real life, and the difference between stylish Maisie and tom boyish Arya Stark must be seen to be believed.

The gorgeous Olivia Wilde gave birth to a baby boy last week. If there's one thing Boy Moms everywhere know, it's look out for that fire hose.

Baby boys, and many of their grown-up counterparts, don't exactly have that whole aiming thing down.

Baby Otis initiated his mom - and himself - into this new club they're in together in quite the humorous and, okay, probably disgusting way, and the new mom took to Twitter to share her wit and experience with everyone out there.

Hey, urine is sterile, right? Right.

Olivia Wilde Tweet

Seems like new daddy Jason Sudeikis COULD HAVE WARNED HER. She seems to have taken her baby's impromptu showering in stride.

If she keeps this sense of humor about the rest of the situations she'll encounter on this parenting journey, something tells us she'll be just fine.

And she's not alone. Twitter is ripe with other parents relaying the funny things their kids do and say.

Demi Lovato will not be torn down by her haters. She made this clear as she defiantly advised her Twitter fans to choose kindness over cruelty this week.

This positive message came after she was bullied by an unoriginal, anonymous troll who called the pop star "fatty." Her response? Taking the high road.

Instead of attacking the user who called her "fatty," one of Demi's fans responded with a simple message: "you are beautiful." Lovato gave her a re-tweet.

Demi then added the following words of wisdom:

  • Dear Lovatics, for every hater tweet - don't respond with hate but love and positivity ... Try love instead of combat (lots of heart emoticons)
  • Dear haters, you don't have to like me cause I love you. Everyone's equal, everyone has a soul and everyone deserves to be loved. (more hearts)

She's all about promoting self-worth, isn't she?

It was the Tweet heard 'round the world.

And, also, much to the pain of scarred eyes everywhere, also the Tweet seen 'round the world.

Yesterday afternoon, for reasons that still defy explanation, a US Airways Twitter message hit the Internet that involved a toy plane, a naked woman, her nether region and... yeah.

Follow the proceeding link if you really wanna see the vulgar US Airways Tweet.

But while we still have no idea if the account was hacked or if someone was trying really hard to get fired, we have at least collected the best online responses to this hilariously X-rated incident.

Scroll through them now and watch as US Airways business takes off:

News of the Mimi Faust sex tape that hit the web Monday immediately prompted great discussion on Twitter and even a trending hashtag #MimiShowerRodStrongerThan.

As you might have guessed, there is a shower scene and a rather sturdy rod involved in the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star's romp with Nikko Smith.

Seriously. That rod can withstand some intense pressure.

Customarily for the social network, someone started the hashtag #mimishowerrodstrongerthan, with fans filling in the blank at the end of the phrase.

Some of the responses were pretty classic, while plenty more were vulgar and others still made absolutely no sense. Pretty standard for Twitter.

Is the tape a marketing ploy to get people to watch Love & Hip Hop online? Very possible. This amateur porn was clearly not "leaked" by mistake.

In any case, it worked if the goal was to generate buzz. Read some of the thousands of Twitter reactions to Mimi & Nikko: Scandal in Atlanta below:
