Full speed... behind?

Following a statement from Summit Entertainment in which the studio said it was moving "full speed ahead" with its original outline for the upcoming Breaking Dawn press tour - despite a certain publicized breakup - plans appear to have changed.

Ashley Greene may be stepping in for Kristen Stewart.

"The studio's holding out to see if [Robert Pattinson and Stewart] get back together," an insider tells The New York Post. "But I don't think anyone is banking on that happening... At this point, the press strategy would have been mapped out. It's usually very organized, but at this time it's undecided."

With various premieres set to take place around the country and the world, executives could simply split Stewart and Pattinson up. Greene would then appear alongside the actor for interviews and junkets.

She couldn't be a bigger fan of Rob, telling The Daily Mail a couple years ago that the star "has been one of my biggest inspirations. As a person, he's not like anyone I've ever met in Hollywood, and as an actor he's a complete natural. He has no ego."

Sorry, Kristen, but that really does appear to be true. You've lost one of the very good eggs here.

There's been a lot of talk recently about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and their much-publicized breakup.

Seriously, A LOT of talk.

But on October 2, approximately six weeks before Breaking Dawn Part 2 hits theaters, fans will have a chance to remember this pair as a loving couple: on that date, Entertainment Weekly releases "Twilight: The Complete Journey," a tell-all that goes behind the scenes of the entire Saga.

The book promises to reveal intimate details about what the official description summarizes as "five-year journey." It will include frank interviews set visit stories, trivia, book and movie guides and dozens of photographs.

Of course, for many, memories of the franchise may be tainted now that Pattinson and Stewart are no longer an item.

Might that change any time soon? Kristen sure hopes so. She is reportedly near a meltdown.

Does it matter to you either way? Even if Robsten remains apart, will you go see Breaking Dawn Part 2?

A new promotional photo from Breaking Dawn Part II shows the various covens that unite to defend Edward, Bella, Renesmee and the rest of the Cullens.

To protect them against the vengeful Volturi, of course.

Pictured are the American Nomad, the Amazon coven, the Egyptian coven, the Denali coven, Carlisle Cullen and family, the Irish coven and many others.

In addition to this pic and seven minutes of new footage shown at Comic-Con, Summit also released a dozen new posters for the Twilight Saga's final chapter.

Noticeably absent are the big three - Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan and Taylor Lautner's Jacob Black - but we can only assume a mega-reveal of posters for that trio is still to come in the near future.

The Twilight Saga cast appeared at Comic-Con yesterday for the (sniff, sniff) final time, but at least the stars provided attendees with plenty to buzz about while there.

With fans camped out for days, and with one tragic accident dampening the mood, a new seven-minute sneak peek was shown inside Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center.

It's not available for public viewing just yet, but THG was on hand and can report the following teases from the Breaking Dawn Part 2 footage:

• It begins with Bella awakening, starting to hunt with Edward.
• She spots a mountain climber and is tempted to feast on his blood, but focuses on a mountain lion as a meal instead.
• She then returns to "regular" life and Jacob delivers some bad news: she really smells.

But Liking the magazine's Facebook page, THG has been granted access to the following photo, which features Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson shielding the young star from the camera... but we can still see her! Come on out, Renesmee, we won't bite...

The final installment of The Twilight Saga will be released on November 16. So far, fans have been teased with a handful of character posters, along with one brief Breaking Dawn trailer.

After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found that I can shine.

So states Kristen Stewart, as Bella Swan, to open the first official trailer for Breaking Dawn: Part 2, which hit the Internet this morning and which, we must say, is pretty darn awesome!

It centers on Bella's transformation and features the reaction of both Jacob and Edward to their now-immortal acquaintance. We see Bella with red eyes and pale skin, caressing Edward one moment and then stalking a deer in the woods the next moment.

Breaking Dawn: Part 2 Trailer

Twilight Saga fans need only wait a couple more days to watch the first full-length trailer for Breaking Dawn Part 2, as it will premiere prior to showings of The Hunger Games on March 26.

But how about just a little taste of what's to come?

In the following teaser, we get a VERY quick look at Bella's newfound vampire speed, while we also see both Jacob and Edward react to this newly-turned blood sucker. I didn't expect you to be so you, the former says, while the latter touches his wife and comments on her temperature.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 Teaser Trailer

You really need to pick up a copy of the special edition Breaking Dawn DVD. Or you really need to keep checking in to THG every few days. Either option works.

As previously published, fans of The Twilight Saga can get their first look at Breaking Dawn Part 2 via a featurette included on that DVD - but that's not all.

The disc also includes a behind-the-scenes look at Edward and Bella's wedding, replete with never-before-seen footage and messages from various actors and actresses, all in character. So raise a glass to the happy newlyweds now and relive the ceremony of the century now:

The first official trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 will be shown in theaters prior to The Hunger Games when that film opens on March 23.

But, come on. That's weeks away. Who can wait that long for a sneak peek at the final installment of this wildly popular franchise?
